  1. Just wish my camera was better, the pics don't do the figure much justice as the rivets are awesome. Anyway I'm not going to talk to much as its pretty evident which is the better figure. One thing I have to give kudos for is the box. You can repack the figure and display it in the box which looks awesome.
  2. I'll try to do a better review with clearer photos, I'm just trying to find my old movie mark II so I can compare that to my Revoltech mk II figure. I must admit tho that i'm getting closer to biting the bullet on the Revoltech mk IV - these are really nice, almost like a mini Hot Toys figure.
  3. See my other thread for more info. Blame Walmart for this. The price is up because they wanted this to be an exclusive thus leading cost to be more per figure.
  4. First off let me say that this is again according to my source as to their absence - so take it with a grain of salt. I've heard that Hasbros rumor has to deal with the 'relative' failure of the Avengers Legends Movie line. It has sold nowhere close to what their expectations were (have more on this in a minute.) so they are absent as they are 'reassessing' the viability of continuing the 6 inch lines. In Hasbro's point of view there is weak consumer demand for these figures. Pt.II - Walmart. According to my source Walmart forced Hasbro to give them this as an exclusive by threatening to boycott their other non-Marvel related toys. Hasbro was wary of this (as can be expected) but were given assurances that there would be more then enough demand and Walmart had enough outlets to fill what Hasbro needed to break even and perhaps release a 2nd wave of Avengers figures. Now this is where it gets insidious (IF it's true) Walmart never intended to really push this line or to stock all their stores with it. The reasoning was that if this failed to sell well it would be Hasbros fault for failing to deliver a good enough product to get consumers to buy it - and as a result of Walmart's perceived losses they could negotiate better prices for all of Hasbro's other products. Walmart supposedly never intended this to sell well or even want it to sell well as they would lose leverage. So there it is, what are your thoughts? Personally I wouldn't put this past Walmart. Now (if what I'm hearing is true) the Legends line is in jeopardy again. Sad day for us all.
  5. No probs, I'll try to get some better lighting as the pics with the flash distort the colors. Also I'll post a comparison with the Iron Man Legends mk v when I get my revoltech one. If you are thinking of getting one stay away from the War Machine as the sculpt on the Hasbro one is far superior. Other than that they are all great esp. the mk ii, iii, iv and vi. I have an extra mk ii moc if you'd like that one we can arrange a trade.
  6. Yes it's a light up arc reactor! I have it on for some pics and off for others.
  7. Ok well due to demand here is the comparison between Revoltech Iron Man and ML + Movie IM. Let me start by saying that I love mine, but it's tough to compare as the Revoltech is more expensive. The one that I show here is the mark iii and it cost me about $35 US. I would love to get a mark vi but that one is currently selling for about $70+ US so it's quite a tough to bite the bullet on that. I love ML but tbh Revoltech is much better in terms of execution and paint and poseability. It's designed for the hardcore collector. Everything from the packaging down to the light up arc reactor is just awesome. I will DEFINITELY be getting the mark vii and mark v when they come out and they will replace my Iron Movie Legends ones. The last photo is one from their website. Sorry I suck at photos. Only minor gripe I have is that the ratchet joints take some getting used to in terms of getting a pose.
  8. Okay, I will do a comparison with the Iron Man movie figures and the extremis Iron Man too. I'll post it within the next 24 hours.
  9. actually these are 6 inch, if you can't find any comparison photos let me know and I will post a few for you.
