Hit Brockton, Ma TRU and Wal-Mart yesterday. TRU had a fully stocked Cube and the Wal-Mart had nothing except a Mystique. Also hit up the Randolph, Ma Target and found the exlcusive two-packs. My Haul: Galactus Captain Britain Multiple Man x3 Ghost Rider Rhino Mystique x2 (one for Trade) Wolverine vs. Hand Ninja Iron Man vs. Black Panther I also hit up the Hanover, Ma Wal-Mart and they had a bunch of CB, MM, Mystique, GR and Team X Wolvies.

The body looks great. The Head? Not so much. Reasoning? The helmet doesn't quite look right. Solution? Swappable head ala Ultimate Captain America (from2-pack).

I like the look of the Beast figure. My only criticism is the hip joints. If they're going to use these horrible hip joints then they can't use double-joint knees. This causes the figure's leg possablity to be cut down to sitting indian style. If they're going to go with these aweful hip joints, then they need to use the balljoint/swivel knees used in Black Bolt and Tigra. This is the same criticism I had about the Doc Samson figure. Decent figure ruined by the hip joint selection.

As a bitter old man, I have to say I hate (envy) each of you that has a Wal-Mart that has actually stocked these. Hopefully, I will find something tomorrow morning when I hit the South Shore (Mass.) Wal-Marts again... ...grumble...grumble....

That's good info to have. Looks like I'll be hitting up my local Wal-Marts again this weekend in a vain attempt at finding these after they all told me they weren't carrying them.

Has anyone found these anywhere in the New England area?

Cool custom head for the Ultimate War Machine. It's too bad that I canvessed 6 Wal-Marts in my area and none of them are carrying them. I can't comprehend how an entire region's worth of Wal-Marts don't carry an exclusive item. I have nothing against exclusives in principle, but not carrying it in an entire region is b-s. Here's hoping the go on Walmart.com.

Yeah, dude, waiting is fine. The last apartment I had wasn't big enough for my toys, so they sat it out until my current place where I have room for them. They understood and didn't hold it against me.

For those looking for the Target Red Hulk wave: Scan a legend figure at one of price checkers, if it says it is in the stockroom it means that it's in the off-site warhouse. If you can find a helpful associate, ask to do a Guest Request. If what's in stock at the warehouse and isn't already en route, a Guest Request can usually arrive within a day. They'll let you get first pick of the case. That's how I got my Red Hulk wave.

And here I was planning on hitting Wal Marts in my area Saturday morning. Looks like it might be for nothing. And I was all excited too. Especially since I lucked out and found the last of the Red Hulk wave on Tuesday.

The real question is whether or not they actually got any in at all and if the associate is just not bothering to check. Did you call or actually go to the stores? Yeah Mass. Wal Marts tend to really suck at getting anything in. My closest is in Quincy, and they ahven't received anything new toywise in months.
