  1. That's what I heard. MS was a joint effort between Toybiz and Diamond. When Hasbro bought the Marvel rights the rights to Toybiz's half of the MS deal came with it. It took some time to hammer out the details of the last few characters that were already under contract, but those are the ones that are being released right now. It doesn't look like Hasbro ever came to a future agreement with Diamond, presumably because they are the root of all evil and want to be the sole profiteer of all things Marvel in the toy universe. Given Hasbro's lack of support to ML it would seem that Hasbro has no intention of continuing MS or a similar type line. That being said. Hasbro is Hasbro and they are notorious for their secresy and you never know what they might do next. They've surprised us in the past. That may be not very accurate, here a piece of a recent Art Asylum Q&A:
  2. That's the only reason I want those figs. Aren't they the same gate tho (same side)? Or is the print on both sides? You can mount the gates in two different ways, so you'll end up with both parts of the gate.
  3. A list of MS figures that fits in the Marvel Legends scale may be: Thanos Hulk The Watcher Mephisto Cloak & Dagger (Dagger's head looks a tad big, but the body is OK, HML Emma Frost had a tiny head and nobody seems to care). Thor And maybe the upcoming Thing, I always thought the Thing should be larger than the rest of the FF, although maybe not this large, will reserve judgmente until it gets released. But MS sculpts are amazing since Moon Knight, I recommend you to collect them, they're more expensive, but there's also less figures to collect.
  4. Count me on. Of course, as I'm spanish, therefore, I live outside the US, I cover the shippment costs.
  5. Hi all, I've just bought the Marvel Select Marvel Girl figure and it's GORGEOUS, I mean, althought it obviously lacks the quantity of points of articulations that any Marvel Legends figure has, it stands as an almost perfect rendition of the character. EDIT: Here are the pics.
  6. great paint app, Hasbro should take notes.
  7. Thanks for the suggestion, I was thinking about it, but I don't know if they'd fit on Pyro legs and arms, guess I'll have to buy the figure and try it by myself. Today I finished with the torso sculpt, it looks a bit "rushed", I'm not very sure if start it again or use it in advantage to create a more "messy" look..., I'll edit and post a picture later. ----------Edit, picture----------
  8. I really like Shadowcat's sleeves, hat did you use to make them?
  9. HI! Seeing how Hasbro's recent figures are getting worse (IMHO) and tired of waiting for the character I like to being made, I've finally decided to customize my own Marvel Legends. And 'm gonna start with Changeling, the very first X-Men who died. I just love obscure characters... Problem is, I've decided to use ML Pyro as base figure, the gloves, boots and head are gonna be replaced BUT I don't know with one's to choose... Any ideas? This is a picture of the character:
  10. Mine was ML series III Beast. And a couple of days later I came back to the toy shop and nought Series II Magneto.
  11. For what I'm concerned, the lack of new figures and my growing disappointment have ended in me not entering here very often.
  12. Yes, I'm quitting mostly because of the direction the line's getting, but that's not all, there are also some personal situations and, honestly, I'm kind of tired, I mean, I'm not gonna buy something I don't like, but staring at the figs I already have gets boring and boring each day. I've tried to do creative things with them (SPAM ALERT!), such as the http://www.mlcovers.com website, but I'm not getting the kind of response I'd expected, this hobby isn't as social as I intended it to be. But, hey, cheer up, at least I'm still enjoying the funnybooks.
  13. I don't know if this is the right forum section for doing this, so any moderator can move this topic to where it fits better. As a result of my growing disappoint towards Hasbro's upcoming releases, a change of residence and my newly acquired interest in Randy Bowen's minibusts I'm throwing everything out of the window and ebaying my collection. I offer great discounts in overseas shipments if you buy more than two items. Take a look at what I'm selling, this week, BAF's such as Sentinel, Queen Brood, Onslaught, Blob, Apocalypse and Mojo. http://search.ebay.es/_W0QQsassZmlcovers
