New Avengers Members?

The wikipedia page only goes up to Kuluu and googling doesn't give me anymore. I'm just wondering is their any new Avengers Members that have been recruited in the Books? I know Dr. Voodoo and Sabretooth have joined (though I don't count Sabretooth, I mean seriously?) but has anyone else? it just that I want to put all my Avengers figure together.

Kuluu is the latest, but you should count Sabretooth unlike the other villains turned Astonishing Avengers during Axis, Sabertooth's moral compass didn't get flipped back to evil. He is now part of the Uncanny Avengers.

of right now he is the latest. As far Sabretooth joining being an insult, given the team's history, its really not. The team is full of chatacters getting second chances, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Quicksilver, Wanda, Wonder Man, Wolverine, Daredevil, and so on.

Can't wait for an Angela. She's not an Avenger perse, but she made her Marvel debut in an Avenger comic. Haven't had an Angie fig since the Spawn Macfarlane days.

Sunspot would be a good one, he joined in the last few years, along with all those lesser known characters from Hickman's Avengers ie. Smasher, Captain Universe, Eden, or even someone like Shang Chi.

You want back to basics? Go read the Marvel Adventure line or the books based on Disney XD cartoons. I'll take the modern 6 issues arc style over the old villain of the month any day.

Okay, totally took what I said out of context. and you seem rather condescending to imply that I should read material based on scripts generated to intrigue little children. What I mean is that there is far too much flip-flopping between villains and heroes. You never know who's going to switch in character, make a moral or ethical ass hole out of themselves and then start whining about redemption and sympathy to switch back.

That's a really funny comment, considering you're talking about a team that has had a rotating roster since 1965.

 

And if "redeemed villain gets another chance" is not basic, I think you need to revisit a lot of the Marvel. Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Rogue, Emma Frost, Magik, Medusa, Spider-Woman, Vision, Wonder Man, Gambit and many more characters are redeemed villains from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, and 10s. Redeemed villains has always been a thing. Oh, and I even almost forgot to mention the Thunderbolts.

 

Additionally, the Astonishing Avengers from AXIS were emergency-Avengers, at a moment of extreme turmoil. Marvel editor Tom Brevoort has even stated that those inverted villains are not Avengers-Avengers.

Thor, Nova, Ms. Marvel, Ultimate Spider-Man are officially joining the Avengers after Secret Wars. Have a feeling Angela, Inferno, Deathlok, & Nomad aren't far behind. Here's hoping the person in the Iron Man armor is Pepper Potts not Tony.

It's clearly not Pepper. The armor has male body proportions, and it's different to the already recently-redesigned Rescue armor.

 

I hope it remains being Tony. Even though that could mean Superior Iron Man ends. Probably Endo-Sym Armor 2.0?
