  1. Hi Guys, I haven't posted anything for quite sometime so here goes. I've first seen Superior Venom when Jay Cochran posted some artwork previews of Superior Spider-man #25. I'm not too sure about the issue number but anyway. Shortly after, I started seeing customs done by Glenn Webb and Craig Warrack on the mentioned character. Their work was truly inspirational as it gave me that final push to decide and start my custom on Superior Venom. Here's a breakdown of the custom: Sculpt: I've used a Revoltech Zetman figure as the base because of his slim proportions. I had to beef up some parts of his major muscle groups by shaving off and sculpting over certain areas. The original face was shaved-off and a full sculpt was done to achieve the facial features of the character. The teeth, eye lids, jaw line, and every wrinkle. The tentacles were from set of repurposed, re-sculpted McFarlane Ms. Muffet spider. It didn't have any joints so I used Revoltech Joints. The bracers were also sculpted. Paints: a black base-coat was applied. dry brush of dark blue to accentuate the details. webbing on the head and upper torso is a ix of white, dark blue, gray and black. Accessories: alternate closed-fist hands sculpted shoulder blade covers for the holes that accommodate the removable upper tentacles. Tentacles are fully configurable, they can be shortened or lengthened. Articulation: Sculpt does not interfere with range of motion and articulation. original base figure has an extremely good range of motion and articulation. You can also check out a high-definition video review of Superior Venom on YouTube. Just copy and paste the link listed below, or search Superior Venom Custom Action figure. This guy is also in Figure Realm: https://www.figurerealm.com/viewcustomfigure.php?FID=59076 Enjoy. God bless God be the Glory
  2. Hi Realmers, After giving Deadpool some real SEAMS, i had to give Frank Castle some real "clothes". I used a paper pattern to do the preliminary vest pattern and basically created a vest from a recyclable, eco-friendly shopping bag. City hall ecnouraged it, "No plastic Bags!" so what do we do, right?... I painted in some darker lines to enhance the facial features and I also gave Frank a 5pm shadow that his 6 inch Marvel Legends cousin sports. I used a gi joe body and legs from two different figures from my fodder bin. Painted a bit of gray onto the trousers and glued in some straps to add some details. Took the new Marvel Universe Punisher head, guns and hoolsters, knife, and viola! The Warzone Punisher is born. Enjoy and God bless!
  3. Hi Forumers, There's an upcoming Deadpool game from High Moon Studios. Took some hints from the game costme and added some seams that ran from the upper body up to ...well everywhere. They were a challenge grafting them onto the figure, but the effort paid off. I did some pretty serious modifications tot he new Bullseye upper body to fit in shoulders that accomodated DOUBLE-JOINTED elbows. Yeah baby, now Wade has more points of useful articulation. Now he can kick more butt than the usual Marvel Universe figure. This custom also gave me a chance to practice fleshing out details through washes, dry-brushing, and and mixing, and whew... I am happy how the colors turned out. Magnets, oh yes, magnets allow him to carry a butt-load of weapons! Grenades, guns, swords, pratically anything that has a magnet can be carried by this Deadpool. Enjoy and God bless.
  4. Hi Forumers, You just have to love the new MU Body; tons of articulation paired with a nice sculpt. I took a Deadpool comic pack head and web gear, used it on a new Bullseye body. I cut up a Daredevil billy club holster to fit in an MP5 ( nice gun) Took some swords from a joe ninja and painted in the inlay details. After a light wash on the musculature and facial creases, some dry brushing and tons of sealing, I now have a posable and playable Wade Wilson. Oh and by the way, the insignias on the hands were a pain to paint on, but it was fun. Enjoy the rest of the weekend. God bless.
  5. I decided to improve my MU X-Force Box set Deadpool so I; - did a bit of sculpting on the head. - Gave him a new neck so he can look up and down, - some new shoes from his Wolvie Origins brother, - new hands that have articulated wrists, - some web gear and custom sheaths from a joe figure, - a modified holster from Bullseye, - some swords from Storm Shadow and a gun from Marauders Gun Runners. - and a modded belt with his insignia on it. I also painted a subtle wash on the musculature and facial creases, sealed him so he's got almost nil on the paint rub department. Now I've got an ultra-playable and posable X-Force Deadpool, time to do the rest of the gang. By the way, I wasn't able to take a picture of the original figure and I couldn't find a good picture of the original, out-of-the-box figure so I used one of the photos from the Marvelous News figure database, just as a reference. Admin and Mods, I hope you don't mind. Cheers and enjoy. God bless
  6. Got Scarlet Witch and Kang yesterday from TRU and I realized I could do away with them so I decided to sell them. But they are pretty nice figures though. I guess if I were a completist of the West Coast Avengers I probably wouldn't sell them.
  7. Hey Guys, Just wanted to share my custom X-Force Archangel. Woo hoo Recipe: Bullseye Torso Bullseye arms Archangel Head Archngel Wings (regular & death variant) Archangel Hands & Legs Painted the rest of the details
