how do you resist starting a new collection

I have been collecting 3.75" scale figures for a while. I have about 100+ figures, with most of the MU and movie line figures. Now with a dearth of MU figures, I am tempted to buy ML figures whenever I see them in store. yesterday, I was at wwalmart and I saw a full casse of the ASM2 figures including black cat and carnage. Then I went to nearby walgreens and see Agent venom. Its so tempting to buy them all, even though I own most, if not all of them in the smaller scale. I think I will just stick to the main figures like the core avengers, but I know once I start a collection, I turn into a completionist and must have all fo them.

So how do you resist the temptation?

I couldn't resist. Bout a year ago I switched from MU to ML. Packed up all my little ones and a year later I have a bookcase full of 6 inch. I've never looked back cause as much as I love the smaller scale (a child of the 70s and 80s how could I not), I love Marvel characters in general so if I can't get them in one scale well then....time to move to the next best thing.

The one thing the 3.75"ers have over the ML line is more characters. I'll see a new wave of MU figures come out with characters I wished I had in the 6' scale (Legends collector here). I started to convert a few years ago, but I aborted because the completionist in ME (fellow sufferer) would go all out to get every single figure in that scale.

I couldn't. I'm in a similar boat, with boxes and boxes of 3.75 figs, but, with Hasbro moving away from the scale for movies and into the scale for Star Wars, I couldn't resist 6" anymore. It's been a couple of weeks and I already have a shelf with about 12 figs and no end in sight.

Yeah, Hasbro's complete and total abandonment of the MU 3.75 line totally turned me off to the point I sold my entire MU collection. But the temptation to start an Infinite Legends line proved to be too strong and I figured this is a perfect time to get into that with only two real waves on the shelves, plus the figures are really good quality.
