  2. Elektra isn’t done with the Daredevil mantle just yet! Spinning out Saladin Ahmed and Aaron Kuder’s thought-provoking run of Daredevil, Elektra will embark on an all-new solo adventure this July in DAREDEVIL: WOMAN WITHOUT FEAR. The series will mark writer Erica Schultz’s return to the character, following her work on Daredevil: Gang War. Schultz will be joined by her Hallows’ Eve collaborator Michael Dowling. Elektra as Daredevil has been a celebrated evolution of the character, and her latest mission promises to be her most intense yet as she heads to the deadly streets of Madripoor to take on Crossbones, the new Punisher, and more. Readers will learn what pushes Elektra towards this quest in July’s DAREDEVIL #11, a show-stopping issue where Matt and Elektra’s will have a brutal showdown with Bullseye and Kingpin! After the stunning events of DAREDEVIL #11, Daredevil’s allies are left more vulnerable than ever before. If they’re able to survive, it will fall to Elektra and Matt Murdock to not only save their city as Daredevil, but also protect the people they love the most as they’re targeted by some of the most dangerous, violent elements the Marvel Universe has to offer! “To say that I am excited about writing Daredevil again is an understatement, Schultz shared. “I love the mantle of Daredevil, but I really love Elektra as Daredevil. Having written both Matt and Elektra wearing the red DD, I kind of lean toward the latter now!” Check out the covers for both DAREDEVIL: WOMAN WITHOUT FEAR #1 and DAREDEVIL #11 now and preorder them at your local comic shop! 3. This summer, Werewolf By Night embarks on new adventures so violent and bloody, it can only be told in Marvel’s new Red Band format! WEREWOLF BY NIGHT, Jack Russell’s new solo ongoing series, will be written by Jason Loo, writer of the upcoming Werewolf By Night: Blood Hunt one-shot, and drawn by artist Sergio Dávila, known for his bold work on titles like Venom and Thor. Marvel’s premier horror icon will undergo a startling transformation during Blood Hunt that will cause his upcoming battles and hunts to be too graphic for some readers. Labeled with a Parental Advisory and polybagged to keep those weak of heart from experiencing its intensity, WEREWOLF BY NIGHT will mark a new chapter in the character’s 50-year storytelling history as Jack gets his claws, fangs, and fur blood-soaked like never before! FULL MOON RISE – WEREWOLF KILL! Jack Russell has been trying to live a simple life – but in the deadly and dramatic wake of the Blood Hunt, his life is about to be turned upside down in ways he never imagined! With new enemies hoping to extract a (literal) pound of flesh and Jack unsure if he can be trusted around old allies and a lost love, the original WEREWOLF BY NIGHT is in for the fight of his life…and he’s in it alone! “I give Jack Russell a taste of the life he wants before the Blood Hunt event rips it away and leaves blood on his hands,” Loo shared. “His new journey is to find redemption while figuring out his new lycanthropic transformation. No one is safe when the full moon is out. But luckily, Elsa Bloodstone is around to keep him in check.” “Our team is delivering a very metal, monster comic and we’re not holding back,” Loo continued. “I’m both shocked and impressed at myself for conjuring up these gruesome scenes from the dark recesses of my mind, then seeing them come to life with every gory detail thanks to penciler Sergio Dávila and inker JP Mayer, as our editors keep giving us the thumbs up of approval. This is literally our smash room in a Red Band comic.” “This has been a great experience,” Dávila added. “Jason Loo is writing a very wild Werewolf By Night and I’m having a lot of fun with the character. I’ve always enjoyed taking characters to the extreme and Werewolf By Night is someone very much tormented by his inner self, so this is a book full of intense action and lots of blood!” Check out E.M. Gist’s cover and preorder WEREWOLF BY NIGHT #1 at your local comic shop today! WEREWOLF BY NIGHT #1 Written by JASON LOO Art by SERGIO DÁVILA Cover by E.M. GIST On Sale 8/14
  4. A true Kree bows to no one. Dive right into Marvel Animation's X-Men '97, the series that everyone is talking about. New episode streaming tomorrow on Disney+
  5. That makes sense. I thought they had initially said the price for Superior Spidey would be higher but when you reported it went up for the standard $24.99 I decided to place the order after all. Now that they've FIXED it I'll probably just let it be. I'll save some money for Ketch GR.
  6. Today
  7. Please let them do a new design for Odin. That BaF was nice to have but no where near what I would have liked
  8. The Wolvie is unavailable too now. I guess I shoulda ordered with something else for free shipping. I figured they'd get Sup Spidey fixed and I'd just order both at once.
  9. Hopefully with an Odin re-do, they'll show some other Asgardian love to Warriors Three and classic Beta Ray Bill..... Wow, well put....I echo what you're saying about them not tapping that deep well that they have. I'm still waiting for Red Wolf, some Golden Age characters (oooh, just hit me- with the new Angel wings, they can now do a decent Red Raven). In addition to doing the characters though I really want them done accurately.
  10. Not for comics. If you weren't an X-men, Spider-man or Batman, it was a bad time for comic books and toys
  11. Normally when people say "It was the 90's," I take it as a good thing. This is not one of those times.
  12. Was she?? I genuinely didn't remember that lol. I had Carnage, Prowler, Xavier and Quicksilver down as retros and not her for some reason.
  13. Those were listed as retro releases in the leak so I'm guessing they'll be on retro cards and not in the anniversary line.
  14. I believe they had it listed with an incorrect lower price and pulled it and canceled those order. Probably be back up with correct price soon.
  15. I decided to pass on both of these that went up for pre-order today. I'm not that into Otto in Peter's body and still have the green suit one we got years ago. The Astonishing costume is one of my 3 favorite costumes for Logan but quite frankly I only need one and I've already got way too many, so I'm sticking with the X-Men '97 Tiger Stripe as my default. I'll probably buy all of the others that they showed yesterday + both Hulkbuster and Odin that they didn't. I wonder if Odin will be a re-issue of the BAF (like they tend to do years later) or if it will be a whole new sculpt? I really wish that they could have revealed at least one new previously unmade character yesterday. We were fortunate to get so many last year. This year so far I believe that it's just Madelyne Pryor, X-Cutioner, Hallow's Eve, Nefaria, Backlash/Whiplash and Lilandra (kind of). After 20+ years I'm getting pretty tired of most of my purchases being updates to figures that I already own. I know that's just part of the business, but I think that I'm nearing my limit and tolerance with it. I'd be a lot happier if they tried to fit at least one previously unmade character in each wave. I really don't feel like that's too much to ask. Even then they'd still never touch but a very small percentage of the overall Marvel character library, which is literally thousands of characters (tens of thousands, actually).
  16. 2 more we don't know. 1. Wolverine 2. Spidey 3. Luke and Danny 4. GR 5. Skaar 6. Warbird 7. Odin 8. Hulkbuster I would assume those last two will be from these options: Mystique/Destiny, Man-Thing, Venom, or Crossbones/Constrictor.
  17. Me too. Denied before the order went through. It's mispriced, but I had hoped to sneak in.
  18. Just a little news for you Amazon shoppers. No sooner than I placed my order for Superior Spider-Man I got a notice that the order had been cancelled and was no longer available. The Wolverine order seems okay. All for the good. I was kind of on the fence about the Spidey figure.
  19. Wow great catch. I'd already ordered. Didn't even see that. Does that maybe have something to do with the stone tease?
  20. The new Hasbro Marvel Legends Series 85 Years of Marvel Superior Spider-Man & Astonishing X-Men Wolverine Figure are available for pre-order from our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth as well as Amazon with a suggested retail price of $24.99 for Wolverine and $29.99 for Superior Spider-man.
  21. Oh...that's just monstrous. It reminds me of an 80's MotU or TMNT figure, and not in a good way.
