  1. These figures look great. They are not versatile for display purposes. You pretty much need to pose them together. But they still look fun. I still think Disney could rebound cinematically if they did a Hulk-Patch Madripoor buddy flick.
  2. The headsculpts all look really good. The smiling Psylocke face is a little creepy. They did a good job making her look malevolent. I like the Patch heads, too. I wish they had provided a different Wolverine, but I do like all the extra heads, now. I like the extra detail of capturing Patch's back hair. Thanks for that pic! 😆 I like the energy effects, too. Those will go well with other psionic powered figures.
  3. Nice! I tried to use one of the extra new heads on the old Hasbro green-and-yellow Banshee. It did not work as well as yours.
  4. This set is growing on me. I really like Wolverine and just posing him with that comic cover is making him worth it.
  5. I think the forehead on this figure looks a little tall. I know she is wearing that head sock thing. I prefer the Love Triangle version. The face sculpt on this one looks good though. Nice pictures. It's helpful to appreciate what we now have when you compare it to what used to be.
  6. I am a fan of the watered-down version. I don't think there is any reason for comics to be an outlet for the artist's perversion, or an avenue for the reader's. I get that Claremont and Silvestri were trying to communicate the demonic influence on the X-Men (and they were effective), but it should be possible to tell a good story without drawing softcore.... I'd rather get a flight suit Maddie with the bob haircut before she went evil. As it is, I may try to get a Lady Jaye and see if the head swap works.
  7. I agree. A heavily strapped female buck would have made Shield agent Rogue possible with a head swap. I’m not sure the Quake figure has enough armor and such.
  8. This looks like a fun set. I'm ambivalent about Logan. A plain-clothes version could certainly look good in a display setting. The Sabertooth is clearly an improvement over the last of this type. I still would like to see it compared to the Toy-Biz version. I am still very happy with that iteration.
  9. I saw this one with Nightcrawler, Maddie, and X-Cutioner yesterday. So good looking. If only I wasn’t at the store for food….
  10. Brawling Whitman are fun for displays. Suited figures are less so. I wonder how his ankles will work. The Hood and Chamber are difficult to pose because of their dress shoes.
  11. I know this look has been lampooned, and the storyline was somewhat controversial, but I always liked this design for Spider-man. Can’t go wrong with bright red, big eyes. This feels like one I can’t miss out on, even though Spider-man isn’t my focus.
  12. I loved Ed McGuinness when he started on Deadpool many moons ago. His art was perfectly whimsical and dynamic. Nice cover.
  13. He always was her rock. And she kept him telekinetically grounded. Then that floozy came along....
