Glad to contribute! Seriously, though. People really wasted their votes here. Deadpool would probably have been made no matter what because Hasbro knows how popular he is and he just had a media tie-in with Wolverine Origins. And Black Widow was probably a 100% lock anyway because this wave will likely be released about the same time IM2 hits. All the people who voted for those two characters just helped ensure we'd get stuck with another Wolverine and Hulk instead of new characters and didn't do themselves any favors because they'd likely have gotten their picks anyway.

I haven't posted here for ages but I'd like to make a special effort to say thanks for nothing to everyone who voted for 2 repeat characters. We hardly ever get new ML and now that we are the wave will probably only have one new character in it. Great work, "fans." The wave is probably going to be: Deadpool/Wolverine Black Widow/New Cap Valkyrie/current costume Thor or another crappy Hulk Don't assume that just because they showed all those new sculpts at SDCC that they'll use them for their picks. I'm sure they'll round the wave out with main characters in order to sell the line to idiot retailers who still think kids are the primary market for these figures.

It's always a crapshoot as to when HTS will stock anything. But I wouldn't get your hopes up for them having the variants unless the variants end up actually being running changes. I'm going to wait until there's a %20 or free shipping code to put in my order as well. HTS has done a pretty decent job of keeping ML in stock so I doubt these will be hard to get there.

I actually got him at Kohls. They're $12.99 there, but they've got buy 1, get one half off right now so if you get him and open cockpit Iron Monger at the same time you won't overpay.

Anyone else find it strange that we haven't gotten an answer on this? I mean, it seems safe to assume that the giveaway is done, but after doing it for the last couple of years it seems that an official "We're done, thanks for participating" or something would be in order.

Definitely better than the crappy Hasbro on the Spidey 2099 and black costume. The others were nice improvements over the old TB versions too.
