What do you think will be the exclusive at SDCC in 2016? I really want to try and go. It seems they almost always do whatever movie they are pimping these days but they already did Dr. Strange this year. The only other big movie is Civil War right? A mutant based exclusive would be ideal but I doubt it. What do you think it will be? What would you want?

I wouldn't necessarily say around a movie. Last year it was based on the Thanos Imperative comic story line. Before that the Thunderbolts. I doubt it'll have anything to do with those movies since at least 2 on the schedule should be out a few months before then. Caps legends if any will be at retail to help the movie and vice versa. You know the kiddies gotta be able to get them. Maybe something from Deadpool is possible at SDCC since it's rated R. I doubt from the uncut trailer that any parent knowingly is going to take the kiddies to see it. Of course I'd like some Xmen. But we'll probably get retailer exclusives like last time with the Jubilee wave. Not that I'll complain but it'll still suck hunting. By the way thanks again for the hook up!

I wouldn't mind an Asgardian themed set. Buf not Angela, Enchantress or Executioner! They need a regular release. A exclusive could have The Warriors Three, Heimdall, Jane Thor, Sif and whoever else. Surtur or a Frost Giant maybe? I'm sure they'd stick some type of male Thor in there.

I like the Thor set idea... It seems they worry about Thor's performance on retail, he hasn't had his own toy line release since the first movie's VERY small 6" offerings.

I'd say Warriors Three, Sif, Jane Foster Thor, and Thunderstrike. 6 figures, which offsets the usual set of five with a bigger character being one of the five.

I have been clamoring for Enchantress, but hopefully she'd see a mainline release, Avengers wave, with Executioner as a BAF.

Thor based would be pretty cool but we realllly need a new Deadpool. Something like Deadpool, Lady Deadpool, Cable, Domino and Boom Boom would be so sweet.

You ARE aware between Toybiz and Hasbro, there's been at least 5 Deadpool releases yeah? Make that 6 including the 2012 SDCC exclusive. One of the last things we "need" is another Deadpool. Your other wave suggestions, maybe but not Wade.

how about a Squadron supreme set. just rerelease Hyperion (as the Avengers version) and Speed demon, with a Nighthawk, Dr. Spectrum and Power Princess.

Ooooh! I really Kind of like the Squadron Supreme Idea... Especially with them getting their own series after Secret Wars is over...

It may be a wee bit soon for this idea, but I wouldn't mind seeing an A-Force boxed set. We all know the stigma that female characters don't sell - so it'd be a way to get characters out there without the fear of peg-warming. AND A-force will be continuing in their own series after Secret Wars so it could be:

She-Hulk (updated)

Singularity

Nico

Dazzler (punked out version like on the cover that has been teased for after civil war)

Repack of Medusa?

Female Loki

I feel like it wouldn't make much sense to put in the recently released Captain Marvel... But they could honestly stick in any other female character and it would still work. I'd love to see an America Chavez, or Megghan... or hell - they could even include the Unreleased White Phoenix since she made a background appearance...

Really, they could even include Thor (female), or Ms. Marvel since they are in the "Marvel Presents: A-force anthology"

I disagree. The only really well done classic Deadpool goes for over a 100$ online. People make customs of him all the time he has easy potential to make a really great figure. Give him a nice alternate head as well.

I agree! Although you could plug Prof. X in his hoverchair and mission jacket or Bishop instead of Wolverine. Everyone on that list needs to be redone except him. Hell they could even surprise us with a Morph from the animated series. lol.
