  1. Can you get things from online? That way far more materials are available. I don't know whether they have it in the Phillipines, but I use Epoxy Putty (also known as 'Green stuff') that sets like slightly flexible plastic. Hope that helps! Sorry I couldn't be of any more use.
  2. Nice idea! I'd suggest (at least it's a start anyway) to add on some panels of some kind. To at least make the walls more detailed. I guess for the panels you could use sheets of styrene plastic? But keep it going, it looks like it's gonna be great!
  3. Hairdryers are great for popping out the joints on Marvel Legends figures which have slightly soft plastic. Oh and a rotary tool is invaluable too!
  4. You can get it in hobby stores that sell Warhammer games.
  5. :o Amazing. I gotta check out that link. In fact I gotta join the fwoosh one of these days (just as soon as I finally complete my custom).
  6. Masking tape would certainly help alot even if you're good at painting with a small brish.
  7. I'd say maybe go with a more 'streamlined' look for Quicksilver's hair. I know it sounds strange to say streamlined when his hair is that shape, but I mean maybe go with a look that shows the strands of hair instead that follow the shape of the hair. Or, if not that then maybe use a slightly lighter gray for the basecoat? At the moment it's giving me the impression that he's got snow on his head since the white seems to contrast the gray too much. But still, nice job for a first attempt. That paintjob on Moleman suits him alot! :)
  8. Very cool. I don't think I like the character design too much but it's certainly interesting. It makes a nice change. One again, great custom. :)
  9. Awesome once again Jin. That silver drybrushing makes the figure 10 times better than it was.
  10. There's another way to get metallic colours. If you've already got silver down (which in this case the figure is already silver) you can then do a yellow ink wash over the top of that and it becomes gold. You can do it with other colours too to get a metallic version of that colour.
  11. Kickass costume which one is it specifically? Overall a pretty darn cool custom, though I was never a fan of those over-sized deltoids.
  12. Thanks folks! Yeah it's unfortunate but I haven't been able to work on it for a while now since starting College. That's not to say I haven't done more to it since the last pic though. It's annoying because if I had more time there really wouldn't be too much to do before he could get finished!
  13. Damn I remember this alright. Very cool custom once again!
  14. Thanks! :) Ya did notice the actual sculpt pic below, right?
