I used Moonknight as a base for the classic and Wonderman for the bulked up variant. The heads are Magneto regular and boxset for the screaming and all the costume and hair were sculpted. The classic one has a removable cape shaped from Emma Frosts cloak and the swords are sprayed chrome for a killer edge :)

Shatterstar came out great but that Domino is fantastic! Is that a Ms. Marvel base figure? If the Hasbro version looked like her I would have bought the 2 pack.

Cheers - this actually is the 2 pack Domino but with a paint job and the head from the 2 Pack Elektra. I prefer her purple duds to the blue :p

Thanks for the comments though peeps - they were lots of fun to make and we DESPERATELY need more X-Forcers.

I like both versions Wings, but the 1st gets the nod. It is CLEAN!!!! The second is beter looking color wise, but not as pristine, nor does it have that "battle ready" face.

What tpes of paints and sealants do you use? I ask because I am still learning the art of custom making.

BTW, for those who try to understand his swords, (taken from Wikipedia): He also has the mutant ability to channel and generate powerful vibratory shock waves (and perhaps bio-electricity) charges through these blades, though he rarely uses them as they tend to exhaust him, and prefers to depend instead on his martial prowess

Great work, as always.

I really don't like the character at all (looking back, I realize that Liefeld's X-Force was pure crap), but your custom looks just like him. Love the "battle face"--it's a nice contrast to the rather "Ken Doll" faces most MLs have these days.

And yes, I see how it would be difficult to cleanly paint a Black Panther/Wonderman body, what with all those little nubbies. Maybe they could be sanded off?

The texture can be pretty good for some of the looks of the 90's but they just make any kind of detail look rough. Completely agree with you on the Ken Doll Syndrome we've had a lot of. I prefer the faces that show a bit of energy like Banshee, Gambit, Bullseye, Hulk, Face of Sabretooth and Wolvie. Even Hercules grin was more interesting than another vacant model pout :p
