I heard a rumor...

To be taken with the proverbial grain of salt, but anyone with a fair social media presence might have seen this also.

It was a list of the Marvel Knight's/Netflix wave, Spider-Man wave, and... a Deadpool wave. It included apparent case breakdowns, and BAFs that (up until now) I hadn't heard anything definitive about...

The list appears to be a screen grab off of a spreadsheet, and reads as:

Marvel Legends Netflix series

Netflix Daredevil x2

Netflix Punisher x2

Netflix Elektra

Netflix Jessica Jones

Blade

Bullseye

BAF Man Thing

Marvel Legends Spiderman series

Spider Punk

Spiderman Noir

Spiderwoman

Gwenpool

Prowler

Demogoblin

Mysterio

BAF Lizard

Marvel Legends Deadpool Series

90s Deadpool x2

Cable

Domino

X-Force Deadpool

X23

Paladin

Deathlok

And the list is "cut off" before a BAF mention for the Deadpool wave.

It may not be legitimate, one suspect thing is that the first and last waves mentioned have a case breakdown "x2" listed, making the waves even at 8 units per case, but the Spiderman wave lacks that, leaving the 8th slot undetermined in the case. It also might have been a tactic to make the Deadpool rumor gain steam by linking it in a list with other confirmed/semi-confirmed figures, but... I thought this was enough info to be worthy of discussion.

Do you guys think it could be legit?

I know the list and image you are talking about and I can say that most of it is complete BS. Marvel Toyline did the list and even said later that it was a wishlist. Heck, you can tell it's fake as they had a listing for a Stan Lee BAF with other writers in it.

the only things that might be true are the Knight, Spidey and Thor waves

The lizard might be true. I'm hoping cause think we need a new one that is bigger (and can be reused for Spider-Lizard).

But Man-Thing. That's a bit iffy. Doesn't really suit the theme of the Wave.

Not saying it not possible but just wait for semi official listings like the one this site usually reveals.

Yeah I'm hoping for Lizard myself but a Man-Spider or Doppelgänger would be the most cool for me.

If the Knights Wave is indeed 6 figures as we are led to believe (please Hasbro put an END to 6 figure waves...) than doubling up on Pun & Devil easily makes the most sense so I will chalk that up to sounding legit.

A Man-Thing BAF would be AWESOME...but...as Tarot said, it would be more than a little odd given the context of the wave/theme. I also thought Abomination was an odd choice for a Civil War wave so who knows.

I'm not really holding my breath for a DP Legends Wave but if it pans out, I'm ALL for a 90s themed X-Force wave! If this does pan out, it sure would be a nice "companion" to the annual X-Men wave we receive. Something like this would definitely give us more opportunities at "X" characters and that's something I think we can all agree on that we need!

I am really hoping the BAF is Lizard. I can stop collecting Spiderman Legends and feel content with it at this point and be cool with Toybiz Doc Ock and Scorpion. I don't want to stop collecting but like to get to that I am satisfied stage if I need too. I am there with the X-Men and about there with the Avengers. I hope we get a new Hasbro comic version of Black Widow.
