  1. Yo! Where did you get that incredible acc. on his hand??? Me wantees!
  2. The stealth one you mention is a resculpt. Heavy Artillery (red and black), ADA (green and black), and that one are worth it if you want non-MkII/III style armors. Well, the aforementioned ones are cool because they aren't the same sculpt. But they ARE repainting them once each so far in the Subterranean/Inferno series. Actually I have to agree that they should have used metallics. But then it would have looked even darker probably. I don't get why anyone would want it to be lighter when the actual comic art has him like, almost midnight blue. Also, my local KB had 40% and most of the stuff wasn't marked up more than say, WM, which put mostly all the stuff I'd want in way under retail. But I still passed on the CAA IM. Good point! Hehehehe.
  3. That's funny. The almost comic-accurate dark color is the only reason I consider him worth getting. Today I walked into KB and it was 40% off on everything. There was a CAA IM right there, and I passed.
  4. I wish I had a cam right now. Yeah I noticed a weird ankle problem. The one I have has these weird blocky things inside the front and back of the foot. I cut them off on one side and it looks better now. Might do the other side soon. Sounds like yours is the same way. I am going to have someone paint mine up or do it myself if I practice enough with the brush in the next few months or whatever. Thanks for the reply. Plus I love your avatar ^_^
  5. Thanks for the replies guys. I got a ton over on Fwoosh too so I'm all set. Thanks again! ^_^
  6. I just got my Destroyer in, loose figure only. It has some weird characteristics and I was wondering if anyone else's is like this? It is basically made of glossy dark grey or black plastic with a silvery dry-brushing on it, but mine only has widespread dry-brushing on SOME of his parts. Some of the parts have almost none on them. Also, the exclusive chest-piece is made of like a rubbery substance, not hard plastic. Anyone else's like that?
  7. You'll have to crack the torso then. You can email me at squeezeplay69@gmail.com for indepth instructions.
  8. I'm posting this here since I'm getting a message that I can't post a new topic in the Marvelous News forum. If any mods know why, maybe they could fix that? Anyway, I'm looking for comic pics of any of Titanium Man, Crimson Dynamo, or Emil Blonsky with their faces exposed. Obviously Emil's face has to be human. I'm trying to do comic-accurate custom part-swaps and I need to know what they look like outside their armor/bestial forms. Best would be pics of the armor with their helmets off so I can match which face/head goes with which version of the armors. Thanks in advance...
  9. Actually, theirs is a metal chain with a wire strung through it for poseability. I would use a plastic chain if you can get one (a couple Spawns have them) and do a painted ping-pong ball or something like that instead. It would be slightly lighter. I stripped the plastic off a figure's twist tie and strung the wire through the chain myself.
  10. One thing nobody has yet mentioned is that Hasbro Doom is much taller. He's actually more in scale with MS and certain older MLs etc. TB Doom is in scale with the majority of ML. I happen to like the Hasbro cape on the TB body...
  11. Edit: Ok, I found the pics of the black and red SMC12 and the black costume. I kinda like the idea of the Silver Surfer body for the black costume but will reserve judgment in toto until I have one in my hands. I have to say I'm really glad they are reissuing the SMC12 body, even with black trim. All you have to do is grab a Fearsome Foes Spidey and this new one, and swap heads and you have the ultimate McFarlane-style 7"-scale Spidey. Beats paying $40+ for the SMC12 one.
  12. I could have sworn that it was Tony who said "next time" to the GOLD armor. I would be down to get a silver or gold version of the MkIII armor if it was a store exclusive. However, I think they should do a Stealth excl. for TRU so I have no idea what store it would be. Oh and by the way, it's "MARK" III, meaning the third time a piece of tech has been marked as a seperate version. "Mach" is the speed of sound.
