What the hell is the deal with the Xmen wave?

19 Feb 2017

I go to Target, two of them everyday. I was late for work this morning and skipped it and after work I found the sad remains of the Warlock wave a single Old Man Logan. How is the wave out before Guardians and not even up for pre-order yet it has hit the shelves at Target....

Anyone seen the new Thunderbolt variant/running change Sh...

17 Mar 2017

Have you heard?

The Sandman wave Shocker is popping up in stores with a running change/variant (not clear yet which), where he features a "Thunderbolts" logo belt buckle in gold on his costume in the midsection. Anyone who has the Boomerang figure, the emblem is in the same place on Boomerang, but on him the emblem is gray.

I heard about this recently, and started googling pics, but only came up with one image.

I went hunting today in NY. I went to Forbidden Planet (comic book store near union square), Walgreens (union square), Toys R Us Express (34th street), and Midtown Comics (40th street). Across those four stores, I saw 11 Shocker figures, and only ONE of them had the Thunderbolts emblem on the costume (at Midtown Comics, one figure out of the five Shockers they had).

Anyone else heard about this, or interested in picking up this version, even if you picked up the blank original?

Beast custom

So, I bought this while searching Marvel Universe 3.75 custom figures. It did not even cross my mind that the figure might actually be in Marvel Legends 6 inch scale so I was very surprised when I received this in the mail. I was wondering what you guys think of it as a custom in the Marvel Legends world.

How would you feel about chase variants?

11 Mar 2017

It seems to work for Hot Wheels, Funko and many others very well.

So, like every 1 in 3 cases would have a chase variant instead of the double packed figure. Off the top of my head Cyclops in his jacket with an alternative head wearing sun glasses or from the last X wave a battle mode Rogue with wings and bone claws or something of that nature.

P.S Speaking of figures with crazy price tags on the secondary market. I think the Walgreen's Invisible Woman might go for around $200 dollars when the dust has cleared on ebay. There is only one of her on there but they must know she will be $20 to $30 bucks in a couple months.....maybe $11 a month or two after that. Is it just stupid rich people who don't want to wait?

Perfect 3rd GOTG volume 2 wave

18 Mar 2017

They did say at some point they are doing three waves right?

The first two that we know about are solid but that is only if the 3rd wave goes something like this.....

1. Gamora (comic, white uniform)

2. The Collector (comic, either is fine though)

3. Ronan (comic, but I will settle for either just get him done)

4. Howard the Duck and Cosmo the Space Dog. (need I say more)

ps I do mean a figure Hasbro not a small statue.

5. Taserface (I guess it needs at least one movie figue)

6. Drax the Destroyer (Classic Comic)

7. Yondu (comic)

8. (or 7 if you hate the Taserface suggestion) Star Fox

The BAF will of course be Lockjaw. (unless of course they are planning a Inhumans wave in the near future, if that is the case GOTG Thing!)

Whats your perfect wave assuming there will be one.
