  2. Is it just me, or does Cyclops look REALLY young on the Daniel cover? I'm with most everyone else on this: intrigued but skeptical. The team is interesting I guess, the art should be good, but I've never read anything by Jed McKay.

  8. Lighter colors really improved the look, now thanks to this mask detail stands out, previous figure was way too dark as much as I love the color shade on it's own, ideally I would prefer something in between these two but I'm definitely taking new one over the old, especially cape wise, these old "collar" capes really overstayed their welcome.

  10. I love this pic, and still stand hy the fact this is an awesome figure. If you're gonna make another Wolverine, best make something different.
  11. In this segment called Marvelous Photo Of The Day, we spotlight awesome Toy Photography from some of the hottest photographers on the Internet today. 12. Good figure, good review; the lighter lavender color brings out the dark shapes for the eyes and the lower front of the mask better than the previous version. In the comics they used light gray, instead of lavender, but as time went on that changed to lavender/purple. The animated series used the shade here. 5:52 From the comics, he usually did have that shape on the mask. It seemed sometimes to me it was a distinctive shape, other times a product of trying to convey shadow.
  13. MCUcollector24 looks at the new Marvel Legends Series Prowler; Spider-Man: The Animated Series Action Figure from Hasbro. This figure is sold exclusively from Walmart in the United States. Check out images for this set below in our GALLERY and share your thoughts about it in the COMMENTS SECTION.
  14. Super articulated Carol is amazing! Although I have my nitpicks, mainly I would love to see Hasbro challenge themselves and try to make thigh cuts hidden by boots overlay, either something close to how they make Wolverine boots on how they did Hulk's lower leg jeans that were soft plastic overlay, yes it would have been hard but so much cooler and aesthetically pleasing, I could also argue about musculature and buffness but Carol isn't really drawn muscular as often. Superior Spidey is almost pefect, proportions and sculpting is truly impressive but sadly they had to put something weird such as elongated crotch/"diaper piece", like they were so close to making perfect Spider-man body but I guess something has to go wrong.
  15. Right! I agree, good figure, but should have stayed with the previous mold. Also its good that while the thigh boots now have a seam or lip instead of just being painted on, they should have made them like the boots used for the Extremis Armor. That would eliminate the thigh cut, but still give decent articulation.
  16. Nice to see a Classic Werewolf back in the books, Like I always say anytime we get something Werewolf by night, When Hasbro can we get a Figure? like come on.
  17. Agreed here, that would have been Ideal for a retro release, but this figure isn't it, that is one of my least favourite Carnage faces I've seen in Legends and not "Classic" at all. and all of that is fine for me since I already have so many Carnages it's just money saved.
  18. Since they were going for retro I would love for them to do classic Mark Bagley style Carnage face just like the Mafex did or at the very least include basic head from previous release.
  19. I love this suit in the comics and this was a desired look for Tony for me, but translated into plastic form I'm just not impressed, it seems bland, it's just far too white which washes out any of the intricate details this suit has, I just don't dig this figure, and that's fine, Very happy it doesn't come with a BAF piece, I also have a feeling they might re-paint this down the line in a Silver paint which would look more accurate and likely a better figure. One take away I have from this review is...wow why now do I really love that Starboost IM, I never cared about it when it came out, but Now seeing it here I think it's so awesome looking.
  20. This set here is all about this Gorgeous Wasp, best Wasp ever, they did such a fantastic job on that face sculpt, and even the mold of the figure it's self is really so clean, I was at first pretty stoked about Giant Man here, but getting it in hand I'm less thrilled I feel as though the Sunfire buck just doesn't really work here, something about it seems off, which is funny because the same buck was great for that Ant-Man, I feel like this would have benefited from being say on Vulcan buck, ah well, nice accessories here and like I said Wasp is so everything, what a lovely Wasp.
  21. This has me very intrigued to be honest, it's kind of a fever dream come true, Aliens is one of my favourite IP's ever, and to have them interacting with Marvel is pretty cool for me, I will check this one out.
  22. This figure is such an enigma to me. A modern style Carnage packaged on a card with a picture of classic Carnage on it and then posed with animated Spider-Man in the promotional shots. Imo it should have either been a classic version of Carnage on that card or the modern figure on one of their new modern cards.
  23. This is the problem I have with the current Marvel landscape. All of the books feel incredibly boring and uninspired. The majority of the artwork (which is a HUGE part of this hobby for me) varies between mediocre and terrible. This may not be a popular opinion, but I miss the Dark Reign era. I miss Bendis. Say what you will about him, but Marvel Comics were NEVER boring when he was in charge of the Avengers franchise. The writers and artists were firing on all cylinders during this era, and the next Wednesday couldn't come quick enough. Every event from Avengers Disassembled, right up till Age of Ultron kept you on the edge of your seat. It really was a golden era. Everything since then has fallen flat. Marvel just feels like a shell of its former self.
