  1. what were you looking for? these are all i got: http://www.flickr.com/photos/35911519@N07/...57621878781479/
  2. know what would piss me off, if hasbro just chose the 3 they first showed us. LOL man that would end badly
  3. actually nevermind i think were only getting 3 packs, here the hasbro release: There's a new wave of Marvel Legends 2 Packs on the way in 2010 and you help to decide who's in them. The basics are simple - six total characters, you pick three and we pick three. Sound like fun? Voting for this all new Fan's Choice will start on July 22nd when we reveal all of the possible choices at San Diego Comic Con. Some of them you might expect to see, some of them might take you by surprise, but you can bet your Sweet Aunt Petunia that they all could make a great addition to your Marvel Legends collection! We've sent along three images to give you a small taste of what's in store. Enjoy! so i think we'll only get 6 new characters, and not 6 packs, where each chosen figure get a compliment one. it looks like they'll just pair up whoever, whether they go together or not. Er...3 packs? Re-read the first sentence buddy. "There's a new wave of Marvel Legends 2 packs..." i dont know about you, but everyone else seemed to get what i meant. but i'll put it easier for you. we are getting only three 2 packs, not six 2 packs. by packs i meant theirs 2 figures per pack. did i say it well enough?

  5. wait so are we getting 3 packs (made up of the 3 they chose and the 3 we chose, paired together) or 6 packs (where each one chosen comes with a compliment figure)? i dont think hasbro has clarified, so it sounds like people are getting ahead of themselves
  6. also for the quality/crappy paint complaints the guy i talked to did say that from now on the quality of the prototypes is the standard, he said because of the scaling back it would allow for way better paint apps and way more detail(though he wouldn't talk about making new parts rather than just reusing whatever looked like it fit, but im guessing then are still going to reuse pieces from seeing the Dr.Doom arm on the Horror,Inc. figure). so it seems like ya were getting way less quantity wise, but it does sound like they are trying to give us more quality wise.
  7. i was talking to one of the hasbro reps at SDCC, and asked about waves of figures for the MLs. he said as of now they wont be happening for awhile. he first said that the reason its going to take a year to get the new 2 packs(the voted ones) is because they want to put a end of the BAF era, so their hoping to knock off that interest with no new products for a little bit, then hype ML's back up with the new 2 packs, he said this era of ML's is all about the 2 packs. i then asked him about just the regular wave format, and he just responded with, 'not going to be happening for awhile, we want to see how these 2 packs will do, and really we won't be planning for another wave for a year or two' thoughts? for me i want new products, but i don't really care if their in wave form or not, i'm kinda glad their killing the BAF, now i won't be encouraged to buy a whole set of figures for a certain character i might want, and i won't have a bunch of arms and legs just sitting around.
  8. im almost sure we'll see a new deadpool. hes become very popular since the wolverine flick, and is in demand toy-wise. im sure we'll also get another wolverine of some kind also(they just gota throw one in). maybe the new capt. america, that'd be cool. maybe even some soldier guys like from hydra or aim. i would personally love a Deadpool-Hydra Bob 2 pack, that would be my ultimate fan choice
  9. i might sell my collection, im going to college this fall, and besides a select few, i just don't want them anymore. plus the 'cancellation' of the waves kinda just added to that decision. right now Hasbro has put ML's on the back burner and i still believe their slowly phasing them out for the crappy 3 3/4's ones. plus the availability of ML's jut sucks now, and i dont feel like putting in the effort to find the ones i really want while trying to balance, basically a new life, with college, jobs, and internships. also it seems 3/4 of the figures were getting now are just repainted molds thrown together to kinda resemble a character. it seems like they look at all the parts they have and try to decide who they can build from the pieces they already have. plus their taking up a lot of room.
  10. for Hasbro best/favorite :probably the FF series Dr.Doom for Toybiz, their best HANDS DOWN (theres no competition) is the Deadpool figure, he's an absolutely perfect fig.
  11. i kinda like the smaller ones, i mean the ones using the bodies from the first series are the ones out of scale(too big and bulky, not to mention simian like). i like the modular armor one because it also seems in scale with the hulkbuster suit.
  12. this was just posted... we hear they'll be showing 12-18 figures, so we vote 3 and they choose 3.... so possibly out of the 12-18 we'll see, we could only get 6. i hope at least they leave the ones not used open for future purposes and maybe introduce an actual line at SDCC. this sounds kinda iffy, i'll have to spare my judgement until i see whats up at SDCC
