Hi Marvel Legends Fans and those following this discussion from Hasbro

Few years ago, at one of the comic conventions, Hasbro displayed action figures which included The Hood and Lady Bullseye

Since then, the company hasn't announced if the said action figures will make it to the shelves of toy stores and collectible shops (online and offline)

Instead what we see are fan polls hosted by Hasbro where we find either repetitive characters getting their action figures for the 10th time or very lousy characters whose action figs most of us don't need

Besides downgrading the quality of action figures, Hasbro is focusing more on Cinematic Universe fan base. Totally ignoring those who wait and wait and wait for action figures from stories that remain popular to this day such as Secret Invasion, Dark Reign, famous Marvel Crime Bosses, the list goes on and on

For starters, can Hasbro start with releasing The Hood's action figure? I mean they already have released figs of The Wrecking Crew, Madame Masque and Tiger Shark from his Syndicate; why not the leader himself?

First of all, Hasbro focusing on the MCU was the best decision they made. it was hard for them to bring out figure that were based on comic alone and the store wouldn't order them. they trick the store by saying these waves are movie merchandises.

as for the figure in that fan poll, they have been slowing and very slowing I might add bringing them out as single or box sets. Nuke for example was part of that poll as well as Brother Voodoo, X-force Wolverine, Fantomex, the Upcoming Havok and techinecally Phoenix. so I say wait for a bit. I think Hasbro are looking for a place to put them since most of them are hard to put in a certain theme.

As for what's Left (characters only as we have the other characters):

  • Bi-Beast - this could be a BAF or part of a Hulk wave for the rumour Planet Hulk movie.
  • The Hood - this could go either into a Spider-man, Daredevil or Avengers wave but he is hard to put out as he is c-list at best
  • Lady Bullseye - this could only be put out in a Daredevil wave.
  • Multiple man - possible figure for another X-men wave/
  • Terror - either a Ghost rider wave (extremely doubtful) but more then likely he could be part of Dr. Strange 2 wave.

Let also include the Toy Fare fan poll that got us Sunfire, which all could be part of a X-wave or Wolverine wave.

  • Lilandra
  • Aurora
  • Northstar
  • Silver Samurai

if we also include the recent fan poll, then it show that Hasbro aren't afraid to do any character as long as their is a wave for it. Thus Angela will either be part of the GOTG Vol 2 or the Thor: Ragnorok waves.

If you think The Hood is a C-list villain then explain why Hasbro launched Tiger Shark's action figure in Ant-Man wave. It defies logic

Whereas The Hood has more relevance to many character waves as you rightly pointed out in your response. My worry is that wave after wave will be announced and opportunities will be missed to launch The Hood's action figure

Earlier I had proposed a Crime Boss Wave for Marvel Legends, if that's too much to ask then all I'm left with is to beg Hasbro to include The Hood in any upcoming wave. The sooner, the better

Tiger Shark has been around for many decades. Hood has been around a few years. Tiger Shark has more right to be a Legends then Hood.

Also note that I said that it's not that they don't want to release him. they just want to find a wave to do it in. a Crim Lord wave will never happen.
