  1. A-Bomb (new Abomination) this one took me qutie a while to finish. i started with the old abomination and resculpted about 97% of it. i tried to get it as comic accurate as i could. i was having some problems with my lighting tent but his color is more vivid in person, like how it shows in the pic with him and hulk.
  2. Nimrod (as seen in New Xmen) ref pic Nimrod stands 8 inches tall and has aprox 18 points of articulation. base: DC Parasite sculpted everything except for hands and part of the back. extended the upper thigh 1/4 inch bottom legs: jazwares megaman
  3. Genis-Vell here's the comic pic if you look closely you can see the different shades of purple and blue beneath the stars on his body. in person it really does look like the cosmos :)
  4. that blastaar is my favorite of all your customs. i would like to see larger pics of terax cuz he's lookin pretty cool too
  5. yeah ive seen these before and even now they still wow me. 2d's skills have grown leaps and bounds. he is now crossed the lines of customizer to skilled toy creator :)
  6. Destro You cant tell from the pics but the boots have a gloss on them that stand out from the rest of the outfit and the eyes are green with a black wash around them. Base-luke cage Forearms-sentry Head-bullseye Rockets on wrist-warmachine accessory Grenades on wrist-xmc catface beast All else was sculpted in apoxie sculpt Thanks for looking :)
  7. that my friend is a really nice custom. much better than any GR hasbro/tb ever released!
  8. nice job! love the blood stains on the axe and hammer by the way :)
  9. Zartan base-xnc ninja wolvie head-bullseye the rest is sculpted in apoxie sculpt he does have a black bow/arrow and a pistol that arent pictured thanks for looking :)
  10. 1st and most important you want to be sure you are using ONLY acrylic paints!!!!! i use testor model master acryl paints. truth is though regaurdless of brand of paint you will experiance some degree of paint rub on the shoulder and hip ball joints depending on how much you play with the figure. 1. sand down any plastic burrs. 2. wash figure in warm soapy water (a dab of dish soap works best) 3. use a decent brand of acrylic paint (testors modelmasters acrylic, citidel (sp?) etc.) 4. dont gob on the paint! use nice thin layers 5. use a natural hair brush if you at all possibly can. a decent brush sells around $3-$15. i think i paid like 6 bucks for the one i use. 6. (OPTIONAL) use a spray sealer. testors dullcoat or krylon clear satin. if you do you want to test it out on a scrap toy painted in same colors just to make sure it doesnt mess up the paint and make it bleed. hope that helps :)
  11. well i already did a BBQ and i was considering a couple of those others you named....maybe still but doc was sold already
  12. excellent paint aps spc! great looking fig :)
  13. Doc (GI Joe) Doc & Flint even though Doc is one of the more abscure characters i've always liked him and hey lets face it the Joe's woldnt be complete with out their medic. base-falcon cut off wings. super glued a tiny piece of wire to the palm of his hand to facilitate the med pac. the shoulders were too broad so i ripped out the shoulder sockets and put (apoxie sculpt) the shoulders back in with out them and kept all the articulation. med pack was from some spawn figure i just painted a red cross on it along with a few buckles, inserted a magnet and now Doc can hold his med pack. all other detailes were sculpted with apoxie sculpt thanks for looking and please let me know what you think :)
