amazing spiderman 6"
Sciencefriction replied to spiderdan's topic in Marvel Legends Figure Discussion
These are not 6", they are 3 3/4, I have seen them at legends the other day. Legends had them listed in the 3 3/4", but if you look at the pictures and descriptions its the 6" figures. They had pictures before anyone else did so I bet they got the pictures from Hasbro and just mislabled them in their system. They are up for preorder, so I doubt they would have them in their physical shop. -

Yeah I think the Walmart thing is just an assumption that is being taken as fact. If it's true then oh well, but I'm going to think otherwise until it's officially confirmed. -

I don't think they are Walmart exclusives, an online toy store in Canada has a couple of them listed (legends toys I think it's called). I was at Walmart tonight in fact asking about the second wave of the 3 3/4" Spider-Man figures and the guy said they didn't have the 6" figures. I didn't even ask about them. So who knows. -

I think the problem here, is that the Marvel Legends team isn't working on these, rather the Spider-Man team is. I mean, we should expect anything different, but so far the style and all the tools are that of the Spider-Man line. I don't know anything for sure, but at least whoever worked on the Avengers 6" line knew how to make figures. These 6" Spider-Man figures leave a lot to be desired. -

A buddy of mine grabbed these for me in Virginia, I should have them Wednesday. I'm definitely going to touch up Cap's paint, but overall these look like excellent figures and I can't wait. -

I mean, if people wanted to trade figures for a set of the 6" Avengers, I have a Terrax I'd trade. -

These are hitting in the midwest so get out there. I'll take any extras, lol. No seriously, I will. :) -

Sounds like a guy on a power trip, what a d bag. Shopping at retail is turning into such a bad experience. -

I don't think any of us having anything against you, you weren't the criminal here. If I were you I would consider posting about things like this, and your friendship, lol. It's my place to say though. You seem like a decent guy, just tell your friend to remember that screwing Hasbro only ends up screwing us. :) -

Accessory to crime anyone? I'm not trying to make more out of this than it needs to be, but he was there, knew what was happening, and didn't do anything; in the eyes of the law that makes him part of it. I don't think anyone is giving him too much #$@#. Most of us are polite here, but if you're going to post about this, especially if you just turned a blind eye to it, what do you expect? -

That's illegal, and just wrong. I'm sorry man, but why didn't you do something about it? Then you come on here and talk about it like it's nothing. Everyone likes a good deal, but really not cool. -

Hmm, I guess I'll just have to get it in hand and see what solution works the best for Loki. He definitely needs some painting though to touch up the gold. I think Loki's hair lent itself better to the removable helmet than Thor's, I perfer swapple heads and wish companies would stop doing the removable helmet/masks thing entirely. Yeah, Iron Man will definitely get some customizing, hopefully once the movie is out on DVD we'll have some good screen grabs of the damaged MKVI. That way it will be more accurate and easier to choose what to add. I think Cap is pretty much perfect, but I plan on painting his gloves and boots a better shade of red, and maybe touching up his mask a bit. I won't be sure until I get him. Hulk is clearly perfect, lol, I couldn't be happier, not a thing I would change (except maybe a wash, but he's fine w/o it). I think everyone plans to get extras for customs. lol. Now I just need to find a way to get them sooner than later, lol. Man I'm so hyped about these guys. -

Yeah Cap looks much, much better this time around, as does Thor (and of course the Avengers Thor we saw at NYCC looks even better). Cap's shield is a huge improvement in my mind, as is the way they did his head. Loki's head sculpt is great, I mean they all look great, but how did Loki's helmet look to you in person? Does it look like might just need to be adjusted, or maybe heated up and made to fit his head better, then it would look better? It just seems larger here than it looked at NYCC. At least it's a helmet though, which can be fixed easier than almost anything else. Yeah, I think these will sell great. If I get the BD Iron Man I'll definitely be adding more dagame to him. I've got my fingers crossed there is a second wave, but I imagine there would be. Hasbro wouldn't miss an opportunity to sell us another Iron Man figure, especially with the MKVII armor being pushed really heavy merchandise wise. -

Great pictures man! I wish they had added some more battle damage to Iron Man, it's not really enough to warrant buying him again, but oh well. Loki's helmet is a bit bigger than I would have liked, they should have went with two heads instead. Still, I'd rather have a bigger helmet than a smaller head. I might just try my hand at casting and shrinking it.. Thanks again for all of the pictures. I still can't get over how cool these new sculpts are. Hulk is such an impressive feat of design and execution, they really outdid themselves on him. -
