Marvel Legends Sightings and Hauls thread

Stopped by Walgreens on a whim today looking for Punisher. No expectations as my area (southern NJ) takes forever to get new items in stock (still haven't seen any Namor). Found a full shelf of the Hulkbuster wave but as I turned to walk out I saw the end cap was full of Punishers. Must've just put them out since the store had only opened about 30 min prior. Picked out the best 1 and that just leaves me with Wonder Man and maybe Iron Fist to finish off the year.

Anyone know where I might be able to pick up figs from the X Men wave in the Katy,Texas area ?

I live in Texas but no where near Katy and I think this wave will be very very hard to find at retail your best bet is going online

My local comic shop in NYC (Forbidden Planet) got a re-up of the X-Men Wave. I went in after 11pm and they had two of each on the shelf. Except Deadpool. The one I don't own. BUT... there was ONE of him, in the glass cabinet. He wasn't marked up in price anymore than the shop charges for all legends ($24.99), so I picked it up. Wave complete.

I got the impression when I asked for the Deadpool out of the cabinet that they had more in stock, but were putting it out in that cabinet one at a time. But I didn't care to ask, honestly, this one's paint was perfect.

I was debating picking up a second Phoenix, but I just got the Deadpool. Wish Phoenix came with an alternate Rachel Grey head. Could have given us two character options, since she also wore this costume. OH WELL...

Went to Toys R Us today in Queens, NY...

There was one single solitary Kitty Pryde figure to represent the arrival of the X-Men wave. But someone sliced open the package and stole the Onslaught head. Shady, shady, shady.

There was also ONE Avengers 3pack on the shelf with Vision / FalCap / Kate Bishop. The paint was shaky on Vision and in a few spots on Falcon Cap. Luckily the cashier said they had more in the back and they brought me out a fresh box containing 4 more to choose from. Found one with the best paint across all three, but Vision was a hard one to choose from. His forehead diamond was often not painted directly on the sculpted diamond, glove details were worn or shaky, all the detailed deco was just shaky. I'm not a fan of the look anyway, but if I spend $50 on the set I do want the best for my money. The employees were very nice, though.

Falcon SHOULD have wings, and I would have preferred ANY Vision look to this one, but Kate Bishop... while simple, looks gorgeous. Looking forward to adding her to the display.

After opening the set, I don't hate Vision as much and I do like the head sculpt, but the costume is still completely garish and overcomplicated. I don't understand the lime green/forest green combination, I don't feel like they compliment each other at all. Too much red... And just too many details. UGH....

Falcon definitely borrows a lot of pieces from Marvel NOW Captain America but still distinct. I really don't know why they skimped on wings, it's very unfortunate. And it reduces his value in my eyes. Re-releasing him later with wings is just going to be offensive and manipulative.

Kate Bishop is still my favorite. But mine is missing a part of her hip cutout in the costume on the left side of her body. The front part of the cutout isn't painted, so there's a sharp distinct line where the hip cutout is supposed to continue from the back of her hip, but it doesn't. The belt/quiver kind of covers it, so I won't dwell, but that's annoying. There's also a hollow part of her quiver where loose arrows could be stored, so that's nice... just need some loose arrows to put in there................
