I have to admit, all of these three packs are cool, with lots of accessories. So many Legends figures lately seem to be people in skin tight outfits with no real detailing aside from say wrist bands or boot straps. Refreshing to see so many "extras." Though I've never understood how Psylocke could fight with that stupid head piece...
-
The headsculpts all look really good. The smiling Psylocke face is a little creepy. They did a good job making her look malevolent. I like the Patch heads, too. I wish they had provided a different Wolverine, but I do like all the extra heads, now. I like the extra detail of capturing Patch's back hair. Thanks for that pic! đ I like the energy effects, too. Those will go well with other psionic powered figures.

I care little for this armored version of Psylocke but it's undeniable this figure has a lot of effort put into it, aside from skinny arms (for armored suit) this is amazing sculpt and the head sculpt absolutely spectacular, if you compare face apps to the previous classic Psylockes it's stunning progress, this set makes you realize that despite all the flaws and weird decisions, Hasbro does move forward and can do amazing action figures. But something tells me we might not get as much effort for the future classic version.
-
For me that's a quite a bit of inaccuracy and there's very little paint on the figure anyway. it's like saying classic Batman or Superman figure that has no trunks is pretty much spot on, especially when in action figure collector business people are hunting down figures that have super minor changes like logos, lines and color shades.

I'm already tired of the voice overs, and I only watched about 40 seconds... Is it like Marvel Fortnight, but with Team Ups? Interesting, I guess, but I'll stick with my PS2 X-Men Legends thank you very much. -

While I'm not big on PvP... this looks interesting enough. It at least brought attention to Luna Snow who I had no idea existed and I'm a sucker for Ice Powers -
Fixit is right on point. If I didn't have the Deluxe Fixit I would have bit on this one just for that figure. Maybe a little on the thin side as it compares to the artwork but it doesn't look so bad because he's a big guy. Wolverine on the other hand is a whole other story. Patch is just as I expected and pretty much the same problem with almost every figure done on a suit body. Too small and scrawny as compared to the costumed counterpart. The side by sides make it clear. Looks like they even squished his head sculpt to make it more narrow to look proportionate on the body. Those little stick legs that have become the norm for dress pants in plastic form make him look like he's swimming in his sport jacket. This is the only Wolverine set I took a pass on and I'm more and more confident I made the right decision. It is after all only a single cover art. I was weighing the possibility that this Patch head sculpt might look good on the previous Ninja Wolverine but I'm fairly certain even though it would probably fit it would probably look pretty silly based on how thin his face looks. Even on this body. Nope I will not partake in this particular set. Even if it goes on sale.

While this episode was good it seems like things are moving way too fast, I expected Goblin Queen story would be at least a two parter. -

Sony is proud to officially debut The Spider Within: A Spider-Verse Story, in partnership with the Kevin Love Fund. Because everyone is going through something, even superheroes like Miles Morales. Sony Pictures Animation has teamed up with the Kevin Love Fund to digitally release the animated short film, The Spider Within: A Spider-Verse Story, that will be incorporated into the Kevin Love Fundâs new mental health focused lesson plan, âThe Hero Within.â The lesson plan invites students to tell their own story through the lens of mental health awareness via an interactive curriculum including a creative storyboard activity. Visit kevinlovefund.org for additional information. In the genre-bending thriller The Spider Within: A Spider-Verse Story, Miles Morales struggles to balance his responsibilities as a teenager, friend, and student while acting as Brooklynâs friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. After a particularly challenging day living with these pressures, Miles experiences a panic attack that forces him to confront the manifestations of his anxiety and learn that reaching out for help can be just as brave an act as protecting his city from evil. The Spider Within: A Spider-Verse Story was developed and produced in the inaugural year of Sony Pictures Animation (SPA) and Sony Pictures Imageworksâ (SPI) Leading and Empowering New Storytellers (LENS) program, a 9-month leadership training program that provides candidates from underrepresented groups with an opportunity to gain valuable leadership experience in animation. The final deliverable of the program is an all-original short film, set in the existing world of a feature produced by SPA and SPI. The LENS program is backed by Sony Pictures Entertainmentâs global, multi-pronged racial equity and inclusion strategy, Sony Pictures Action. The programâs goal is to provide creatives who have traditionally lacked access to leadership roles with a first-hand opportunity to deepen their understanding of every element of the animated filmmaking process including production design, animation, visual effects, lighting, sound, and various post-production processes. Through the program, participants strengthen their ability to effectively articulate their filmâs creative vision and collaborate across a variety of disciplines. The Spider Within: A Spider-Verse Story is directed by Jarelle Dampier and written by Khaila Amazan, and produced by LENS program creators Michelle Raimo-Kouyate and David Schulenburg. Rounding out the inaugural LENS team are Clara Chan who served as vfx supervisor and Joe Darko who served as animation supervisor.
