I downloaded it yesterday and it is a very nice, crisp looking game. The colors seem a little off, but overall I'm happy with it. There is a moves list that you can scroll through for either you or your foe but it just tells which direction to move the thumbstick and then kick or punch. @ of the wast amounts of characters are Wolverine, I never owned this game before, so I don't remember if it always had 2 wolverines to select from. I'm guessing it's an error or that they had to put him in twice because they lost someone else, but who knows? Do any of you? He's not in a diff suit.

There's two Wolverine's in the game. A bone claw version and the adamantium claw one. They didn't lose any one in the game.
My team: Iron Man, Captain America & Spider-Man.

It's expensive considering it's not a full game, some parts just look unfinished.

I know this game came out when you were 5 but if your talking about the graphics and/or background that's just how this game was 10 years ago. Except now it's in HD and you can play online. still has 54 characters

The game didn't came 10 ago, it was released in 2003 or 2004 and now it's just a rerelease with a ne paint job, the story mode isn't there anymore and the only thing that was new comparing to the old one it's the online mode wich albeit fun, doesn't work as good as it could.

ok 9 years ago.
Dreamcast June 29, 2000
then PS2 November 19, 2002
What story mode are you talking about? are you thinking of the right game?
still you can't buy the game for less than $15 on any platform. plus you start off with 56 characters and don't have to unlock anything

You start with all the characters becausa there's no arcade/ storymode to unlocked them. $15 maybe cheap but I'm not paying that for this game regardless.

I don't remember any story mode. arcade mode is just the normal fighting mode. I remember earning points by playing matches.
QUOTE
The arcade version features an "experience" system which unlocks hidden characters after a certain number of experience points are earned. This system was removed in the console versions in favor of the "Secret Factor" menu, where the player can buy hidden characters, backgrounds, and artworks using points (earned through normal playing). In the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 version, all characters are unlocked from the start.[11]

anybody still have the original game to prove me wrong?

I had the original for Dreamcast and don't recall a "Story mode", I DO recall an Arcade mode, but I haven't any clue how different the new version is compared to the old. Wish I still had the original for DC, but I sold it when it was worth 80 dollars a few years back.
