BBTS must always be late to put up preorders then?

I figured we would have seen Invisible Woman and Black Panther by now........The Mary Jane-Spidey two pack, Cyclops-Phoenix two pack, Homecoming wave and store exclusives will probably all hit at the same time lol.

Honestly, I don't know what anyone chooses BBTS over EE. Granted, there are certain lines (select various imports) that BBTS carries and EE does not but when it comes to major things (mainstream items like Legends waves are a given) I simply prefer EE. There's nothing wrong with BBTS by ANY means so it's not like I have a crusade against them but when it comes to ordering cases of waves, EE is just so much cheaper.

If you want "mint" packages for your figures (which is what I want since I don't open most stuff) then you have to pay an additional "collector upgrade" charge on BBTS, which can vary from $10-12 on a case where as EE guarantees their items mint at no extra cost. Also, unlike BBTS, EE doesn't charge shipping on preorders totaling $100 or more and all cases/waves these days whether it's 3.75 or 6in, are $100 or more per case.

Before anyone accuses me of secretly working/soliciting for EE (uhh yeah, not the case) I simply wanted to share that as I know BBTS throws their ads around EVERYWHERE and maybe not everyone knows the above information I stated about EE policies-just trying to be helpful. In this day age of collecting, where you can frequently walk into stores and NOT find what you want...over and over...online ordering is really where it's at imo.

Personally, I like each one of them for specific reasons... BBTS usually has things around longer than EE, so when I take "collecting breaks" BBTS is great for getting a case of something that I passed on originally. And even though (to your point) they don't guarantee mint without paying the extra fee, I've never been disappointed with the condition of anything I've purchased from them.

However, if I want to guarantee I get something in good condition so I can keep it MOC - like the SW 40th Anniversary TBS figures or the SW Vintage Collection - then it's EE all the way. And all other things being equal I'll usually choose to order from EE over BBTS just because I've been a customer of theirs longer and they've never let me down.

Yeah Amazon actually leaked the preorder pages (why they were pulled down afterward initially) for the wave a little ahead of schedule. Be that as it may, etailers always receive and ship their stock before retailers get their grabs with the ONLY exception (that I can recall anyway) in recent years being this past Warlock Wave where Target must have paid Hasbro a few pennies for an early bird release.

Sometimes etailers are only ahead of retail by a week or two, sometimes by more than a month. With Black Series, etailers are ahead of retail by about 3 months at this point lol...but that's a story for another time.

The Amazon links are still up, or were last night. I ordered Moon Knight last night at around 11:30 pm EST.

If you saved it to a list or already ordered it then you can add when in stock, but the actual item page is gone.

There are links posted in a Marvel Legends FB group, and that's the link I used. The only figure I have saved is Cosmic Spider-Man. The links automatically add the items to your cart. So I don't know if that's because it's a link someone else saved from their cart, or something, but, that's how I bought those figures.

It's mainly for the safety of our readers. There are exception like when they put up prototypes like the sdcc exclusive Thor set where we get news on it but then you have other who might be scammers. However etailers like amazon and bbts or over sea sites like robotkingdom and kapowtoys are generally safer to share links to. Not saying all etailers are okey but most are
