OMG. Those are beautiful!
It looks like Wrecker will come single carded in Wave 3 (or 4) like I predicted. (crosses fingers)
I like the small Wasp.
Can't wait for better pics of Nightcrawler and Storm

Beautiful! Didn't think Nightcrawler would make the cut. He's not exactly a power-player in the Secret Wars series. Excited about Absorbing Man making it in there. Doom looks damn nice. And the Thing will be wearing underpants after all.
Last rumor I heard was that Colossus might make it into a comic pack with the Juggernaut figure, but since the later comic packs have yet to be announced it's all just speculation. I'm sure the Colossus figure will be released pretty soon.
Don't really want another Mohawk Storm debate, but I think she looks wicked cool.

As for main characters left out of the figure set...anyone feel free to jump in...
1) Molecule Man sticks out in my mind.
2) Titania has her origin here.
3) Volcana, who also has her superhero origin along with Titania, wasn't too important afterwards, as far as I can remember. In Secret Wars II she becomes pretty silly, and in the recent Molecule Man appearance in Dark Avengers she is just gone.
4) Walking-by-himself Professor X in his cool blue suit (complete with blue tie)...
5) She-Hulk, who joins the Fantastic Four in Ben Grimm's place at the end of the series. She has no exciting outfit-basically she wears a torn dress and leg-warmers-until the last couple pages of the series, when she dons the FF uniform.
6) Rogue, whose costume here is her original "little green riding hood" costume-which her current costume is based upon. I think no one finds it really attractive but me. At the end of the series she gets an orange tunic costume which looks kind of cool. A lot of characters get a new costume in the last couple of pages of the series, after they discover the costume generator that Spider-man found earlier. For some reason, they all think they can play with it with impunity.
7) Doctor Octopus gets left out. He is sort of the leader of Doom's strike force for part of the series, but once Ultron appears Doc Ock has something of a lesser role.
8) The Monica Rambeau Captain Marvel. This one is a real shame to me. The others might get made separately at some point in the line (Rogue and Prof X definitely, She-Hulk almost definitely, Molecule Man and Titania lesser possibilities but really who cares), but Monica Rambeau? Not holding my breath. Still, the figures there look great, so I'm totally overjoyed. By the time the series is done we'll have Doom, Storm, Nightcrawler, Hawkeye and Ultron. For this I am happy.

Don't forget The Wrecker{who I think I've heard will be released later} and the Lizard who I really want to see as part of MU not the Spidey line after seeing how they're being made articulation wise. The Doc. Doom nevertheless is awesome and I love the whole mini figure as an accessory. Absorbing Man was a pleasant surprise that I'm looking forward to. It'll be nice to have an MU Nightcrawler over the current Wolverine and the Xmen version. Not big on the mohawk Storm but my finance' loves Storm so that's cool. Bulldozer and Thing also look very good. Let's hope the QC on the SW packs improve.

Awesome!!!
The Doctor Doom looks way better then the Showdown version. Absorbing Man looks sweet, didn't expect him but I'm happy as hell they included him! Hopefully I can buy two and keep one regular and paint the other one grey so he looks like he obsorbed metal or stone completely. Thank god they released Nightcrawler!! Bulldozer is also a must buy. I like the little Wasp figure but I wish we could have gotton a normal size Wasp instead of that Storm. Rather had Rogue then Storm. Either way thanks alot for the pics Juggy!! I agree about Rogue's costume Feihong, I liked it too. I really love the new updated version! It's my favorite version of Rogue by far.

Those are awesome! I don't like mohawk Storm but I could probably customize the body into a Black Canary. :D I wouldn't worry about Capt. Marvel/Photon. She was recently in the Marvel Divas comic. However Molecule Man was a major player in this series. Perhaps they can or will make a multipack with the remaining characters? I don't care for that Rogue costume. I was always more impartial to the 90's one. A She-Hulk base could be used again for Titania & Thundra.

Hear ya about Rogue, Riddick; the new costume is too sweet 4 words. They should make a figure of her like that. I don't need all this Jim Lee stuff-which was, admittedly, the face of comic books in general when I was a teenager. I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a bunch of Jim Lee books that I used to really like. The more I get away from them, though, the more I realize how glassy his characters used to look (he managed to make Logan reveal almost no personality, amongst others-the sometime exception being Jubilee), and how little their expressions (both in their faces and their bodies) set scenes or revealed characters. Lee, like his crazy friends (Liefield, Portacio...even later Silvestri), seemed incapable of generating mood or feeling. All their later comics come clean with exactly what they were up to; their art is all about posing. So characters preen and freeze in place and pretend they're doing something or other. But they seldom come across as more than that. So those comics, and their legacy, has kind of soured for me. I much prefer both earlier and later X-men art, from John Byrne or Paul Smith to Alan Davis or Billy Tan.
I guess that's veering a little off the topic. What I meant to say is that the damn Abercrombie jacket of Rogue's, and her Buckaroo Banzai hairstyle really irk me, just as Jean Grey's undynamic orange jumpsuit with the blue football pads does. Psylocke and Jubilee don't fall with the fashion victims of that era, but a lot of X-men wore something wonky during that era.
Or if they do make a Jim Lee-style Rogue, hopefully it's a variant figure, like Ms. Marvel. That would be both fitting and totally sweet-modern and old (by old I mean the Jim Lee costume) versions of Ms. Marvel and her semi-nemesis.
I don't think Photon's coming out any time soon. That Divas comic won't bring her into the mix, I think. Before that she was in Nextwave, where her no.2-most-popular star was Boom-boom. In Divas she plays supporting cast to Hellcat for most of the series. I just doubt she's high in popularity. And from the Divas probably most of us would rather see Black Cat produced first, I would imagine.

100 percent agreed on what you said about Jim Lee. I started to like X-Men when in Fourth Grade my best friend came to school with a Wolverine figure (1991-92) and then I watched the piliot episode of X-Men cartoon and was hooked. I enjoyed the costumes and character looks then but I also used to think Masters of the Universe was a good show....then I grew up. It's hard for me to even read a 90's X-Men title or any Marvel title for that matter. The 90's may have been the biggest boom of Comic Books but considering the most popular artist was that piece of #$@# Rob Liefeld (oh how I despise his art) and everyone deciding that every superhero needed to be redesigned with long hair, shoulder pads and belts with 100 small pouches it's best forgot. I may have grown up with that version of X-Men but I prefer the 80's and 2000's by FAR! I would love to have a Rogue with a removable hood like they done some of the Star Wars figures. I just hope they do a modern X-Men characters before the Jim Lee versions. Man imagine if they release a Cable figure with Rob's artwork on the board or worse yet.......The Cable figure is modeled after his artwork....dear god. Speaking of Rob, check that link and look at some of the pages with his worse artwork. I had a fun time reading those. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&saf...&aqi=g-sx10

Damn, I am going to have to buy all three now. Nightcrawler looks amazing.Storm looks good, but I am not all that excited just because I didn't enjoy Storm's character when she had the mohawk. I NEED Absorbing Man.

Whoever was talking about Rogue's costume in Secret Wars, that is the one that I want to see. Don't want Jim Lee style, don't want first appearance, gimme Rogue in a hood.

A Battle Pack might actually be pretty good idea but a hard sell.
You could do a TRU style three-pack- She-Hulk, Molecule Man and some A-lister would be needed and I'm no sure there's a worthwhile one left to throw in.

Maybe that's why they haven't released the Wrecker yet. Maybe they figured if they released the rest of the Wrecking Crew and threw the Wrecker in a multi-pack it would help it sell.

That Doom is fantastic. I had a hunch they'd re-use the arms and legs from Ultron and it looks like I was right. I've never been a fan of Absorbing Man but he looks pretty good too, assuming its the Luke Cage mold.
Hard to tell, but it looks like Nightcrawler's going to be pretty sweet too. Good times!

They should have no problem selling battle packs like the Star Wars ones. They could do civillians in with the heroes and get the sells retail wants. I wonder if they are going to try and tie Galactus in on the Secret Wars theme some how.
