  1. Past hour
  2. Very nicely done. Would that the Marvel Legends team had put as much thought into the Dr. Strange effects as Mafex has done for Psylocke
  3. Today
  4. I'm looking for Hasbro to reissue the Riders Ghost Rider in a Toybiz style retro card, as for whether it comes with the bike or not, who knows. What about a Ghost Rider wave with a build-a-cycle?
  5. Got an email that the retro line 3.75" Phoenix and Wolverine 2-pack is shipping soon. Also got the email about Johnny Storm last week but so far that hasn't shipped yet.
  6. This is awesome, but for real, somebody bought four Jackals for their collection?!!
  7. Retro Johnny Storm arrived today from Pulse. Actually expected it to be the Excalibur set, maybe tomorrow for that one. Was also able to find Dr Strange and Integrated suit Spidey from the No Way Home wave. Just JJJ and Morlun left did see a AOA Kitty today too but not collecting that wave. Have never seen Sabretooth, is he the hard to find figure for this wave?
  8. In this segment called Marvelous Photo Of The Day, we spotlight awesome Toy Photography from some of the hottest photographers on the Internet today. 9. Looks like they update both Gwen and Miles costumes. and what's with the beefed up Miguel?
  10. Check out the first look teaser for the highly anticipated sequel to Sony and Marvel's Oscar-winning animated blockbuster from producers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar-winning Spider-Verse saga, an epic adventure that will transport Brooklyn's full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man across the Multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-People to face off with a villain more powerful than anything they have ever encountered. The voice cast features Shameik Moore as Miles Morales; Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy aka Spider-Woman; Issa Rae as Jessica Drew aka Spider-Woman, and Jake Johnson as Peter B. Parker aka Spider-Man with Oscar Isaac. Starring Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Issa Rae, Oscar Isaac, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez, Jake Johnson Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) is coming exclusively to movie theaters on October 7th, 2022.
  11. Those faces are really impressive. I'm liking the pinless tech too. Hasbro is stepping it up.
  12. Great topic and one I was just about to post myself. I want to see the team make the figures as they are supposed to be in the comics. I want this consistently, across the board, regardless of the character's popularity, obscurity level, costume or complexity level. Whether its Spider-Man or Red Rajah, whether the costume is full body armor or crop-top and a thong. I want figures to be in scale with each other. Captain America is more physically robust than Mr. Fantastic, but Reed shouldn't look like a teen boy in comparison to him. I want the female figures to have the same articulation and body varieties the males have. Can't use the Kate Bishop mold for the Black Widow or Opal Saturnyne. They're just not interchangeable. I want to see characters that haven't gotten a figure yet. It shouldn't take 20 years to get figures for characters that have been around for 80 years, yet they'll churn out brand new figures from tv shows that have aired in less than two months. I want to see a Golden Age themed wave, 70s themed wave, horror themed wave. I want to see teams completed. Its ridiculous that I should even have to say this. I want accessories to really get some variety and improvement. Magic effects for the upcoming Dr . Strange are feeble. I want to see either an end to the exclusives, or at the very least a 100% improvement over how they're executed.
  13. I would rather not dwell too much on the worst of the year, other than the obligatory shoutouts to The Hood and Sue Storm's botched facelift. I don't want to get anymore negative than that, knowing that we all have different expectations, desires, tolerances, etc. for these figures, and also my genuine belief that Hasbro tries to produce good figures every time. Big picture, I think this year was really strong year for classic comic villains. I mean, the fact that we got a Bring On the Bad Guys wave was really, really cool. The highlights for me are Red Skull and Dormammu, just because these are characters I've wanted for a while, but the Lady Deathstrike and Scientist Supreme were both great looking, as was the BAF Xemnu. Classic Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet in snapping position was a big win, as was the other great deluxe figure M.O.D.O.K., who was even better than I hoped he would be. Other amazing villains this year are the new retro carded Sandman, the retro FF Psycho-Man, the delightfully wonderful Frogman, and, of course, Ultron. The best BAF, however, is Stiltman. I love how Hasbro packed his leg extensions with army-builder Hand ninjas. That's so brilliant. I've got three extensions on him so far, but I might need some more ninjas to make him even taller. After all, somebody's gotta look my Galactus in the eye when he arrives! For the heroes, Hercules and Tigra are the best by wide margins. These two are great, beatiful sculpts, tons of personality, gorgeous to behold. Wish every figure was as good as these two. I really wish I could be more affectionate toward the retro Fantastic Four, since those are my favorite characters, but every one of the figures has a nitpicky issue that bothers me. Perhaps that's my own expectations, though, which is why I don't want to spend any time taljing about the worst figures. Also need to shoutout Firestar, because she's adorable. Overall Top 10 from 2021 Hercules Ultron Tigra M.O.D.O.K. Stiltman Thanos Red Skull Psycho-Man Frogman Sandman
  14. Yesterday
  15. my, you weren't kiddin, how did i miss that 😂. but yeah gonna reconsider it, though i admit still a bit bummed out about the no arrows thing but oh well
  16. While I do like this version a bit more then the Fixit wave, maybe because this feels a bit more like his classic costume, it's still such a random re-paint release, and hardly different enough then the recent figure that came out like...a year a go, this is an easy pass, now if we had gotten a classic version I'd have jumped on that and chucked the modern look fig in a bin, but until we get that I'm fine with what I have both figures arn't really that stupendous IMO.
  17. You may want to look again. Both have butterfly joints. Also these are 3d render and there is go to be a few more accessories
  18. perhaps both Hawkeye figures don't look bad, but i will say, no arrows? no butterfly joints? definite pass, cause i always think those two details should be interesting for an archer character figure.
  19. Weird, I just talked myself out of this one, after defending it as a solid placeholder. Cancelled my pre-order. I'm sure the Falcon's popularity isn't going to dip very much as Sam Wilson's prominence rises in the MCU, so I can wait for a better more classic version of the figure.
  20. Yeah, man unfortunately that's what they wanted to do with that pack .... I think that even a two pack of two different Steve Rogers figures would have been better...and not because I don't want Sam in it. I also agree that they'll do that D+ red suit Sam eventually in some kind of deluxe release.
  21. Thanks to LittleToysBiggerWorld we have new in-hand images to share with you for the MAFEX X-Men Psylocke figure from Medicom.
  22. I could see it happen, Transformers have the Studio Series line which has been a boon for movie collectors
  23. Skipped on the first Falcon and still not surte about getting this one, if he had Redwing, I definitely would
  24. Well the synopsis mentions it is a faction of Skrulls, so it could be a radical group
