I think its total bull that someone can claim they are offended by a sig that expresses that persons religion... That's like being offended when someone on here expresses that they are proud to be an american

Well there is a type of atheist that is known as satanist atheist or something of the sort.. I didn't really research but I know it has that label for some reason but it's only a title and not like they actually believe in satan or anything. But if someone put in their signature "Proud member of satanism" would that be acceptable? It just seems to me like that would be very provocative to other christian believers and they might find offense to it.. just to change the perspective.

it's a joke along the lines of first person shooter games like quake or halo, when you get killed in the games, you respawn in a new place, but sometimes it takes a few seconds. this delay is called lag, and generally players get upset with it.

Well, the word "lag" has been around a long time....long before video game players anyway.

or that they really like anime! I'm highly offended by anime myself, think it's pretty perverted and such, but hey, I can't go around complaining that everyone's anime pictures in their sigs are offensive to me, and that I'm tired of people trying to "push" me into liking it, by talking about "how great it is" and I should just "give it a chance".

That wouldn't be offensive. If you believe in Satan, you surely belive in Christ, it's just that you don't like him.

 

If your sig only stated your love of Satan...no big deal!

 

If it makes a slight upon Christ or a religion (even muslim) it would be offensive.
