Got A Question For The Mods

Why has my Zombie sig been removed? I have "Too Crude" at the bottom of my posts now.

How is a zombie holding a head "too crude" and people have stuff like the near porn Anime and Jessica Alba gyrating on a strip pole not?

So tits and ass are A-OK but The living dead are not? Just wanna know where the line is?

I'm not a mod, so i can't say for sure, but i'll try.

 

 

Anime and near nude women good be considered by some to be in poor taste, where a picture of a disembodied head could be considered too graphic. I didn't see the picture, but it does sound kind of violent.

 

In the end, it comes down to the mods judgement, and i'm sure they will remove what they see necessary to remove in the best interest for TNI

I didn't see the picture either, but when a mod removes a signature, It's usually one or more of the reasons below

 

- it's too large of an image and/or stretches the screen

- it's too graphic

- we've had complaints from other members asking it to be removed because they find it offensive

 

we have people from all ages who post on these message boards, and from many different nationalities. What some may find humerous, maybe completly offensive and upset others. I'm sure parents don't want their kids coming on here and looking at porn or disgusting pictures of dead guys, but we try our best to leave as much as we can, but there is a fine line as to what can be posted on this board.

 

The moderator who removed your picture probably had good reason to remove it.

I find it hard to believe that such a thing would be considered "too crude". You pissed any mods off around here, that might have ya targeted for harassment maybe?

Yep! A movie still capture, from the Land of the Dead movie! I LOVE zombie flicks, so seeing it's just a picture of the movie magic of great special FX, I guess I don't quite feel shocked or appalled by it.

I liked your sig you had after someone removed your original "too crude" sig.

 

I forget how it went exactly but it was something like "my sig was removed because it was "too crude" but you'll be able to see some half nude cartoon half way down this page of some chick with her breasts poking out her top in one of the moderators sigs."

I think that's gross. Young kids may come to this forum and see that. If I was a mod I'd remove it.

Somehow, I just don't get the feeling too many 5, 6, 7 or 8 to 10 year olds frequent the forums here.

 

Those ages aren't much into collecting toys, but probably prefer PLAYING with them. It's the adults who obsess over the toys enough to want to seek out forums dedicated to discussion of them.

 

In all my years of being a member of TNI, and knowing my kids see me on here all the time, and know what it is the site is all about, not ONCE...when they've taken time to get on the computer themselves, have they asked to get on the site I do, to read about toys.

 

They want to find games!
