x men legends 3 OR marvel ultimate alliance 2

Recommended Posts

i would think MUA 2 is more likely than XMEN legends 3.... since MUA reaches far more of the marvel universe than xmen does. If they hadnt have made MUA i would totally say xmen legends 3 was more likely... but im pretty sure they even announced MUA 2 already.. But either would be cool.. im a big xmen fan... but mua has a better diversity of characters.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 is official. According to a blurb in Wizard magazine this month, it's due out this year. They also said at least a "Portion" of the games storyline will have to do with the Civil War storyline.

All the other reports I've seen online have said it would be out in 09, so I'm not holding my breath for a release this year, but right around the Holidays would make for a great present to buy myself, lol.

I'm hyped about the Civil War aspect, perhaps choosing your character and side could alter the outcome of the Marvel cross-over blockbuster.

I think Wizard magazine is late to the game again because i'm pretty sure Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 was offically confirmed by Activision a few months ago.

i liked both but i liked the X-men legends better, simple because there were more characters even though they were all x-men, plus there was more characters i would actually use rather than UA, plus Bishop was the overall best

I'm going for MUA:2 because I would love to see the civil war side, that would be cool if story mode you could do up to 4 chars like usual but before you select your char you pic Caps side or Iron Mans and which side you pick you can only use that side roster, 40 for each side would be good since it will be on PS3 "BLUE RAY" could hold it easy, and of course free mode that way you can use any set of chars together.

then again I would be dreaming for something as awsome as that.

PS- anyone know if they are going to revamp that EA Marvel fighting game, the early vids were awsome.

Definately agree with some of your characters. Part of the fun of the game is the alt costumes, and you names 2 charactrers with a huge ass wardrobe in Wasp and She Hulk. Personally, the more characters, the better. And I mean diversity. I'd also wouldn't mind seeing some obscure characters as well.

For MUA2 I would like to see eaither Cable or Nate Grey as chars you can use.

Dude if you get MUA for the PC you can play as Cable after you mod him in. He plays just like he did on X-Men Legends 2 on PSP. He had his classic skin, Soldier X/civilian skin, Techno/Civil War skin/ and an X-Force skin.

Go to Marvelmods.com. It's so awesome.

I think Ultimate alliance two is better because it has all the characters either X-men,avenger or marvel knights :spidey_read_thread:

Cyclops (Ultimate) should be in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, but playable.

There is not a definite No on X-Men Legends 3. One person from the board said that they don't plan on making it, but if they ever just want to pick it up, then they will.

its called fusion because you can "fuse" different character's powers together to create new ones.

yeah....not kidding.

Not exactly. Two characters can do a manuever together - like the fastball special.

I think it would be better for Ultiamte Alliance 2 because it ened scetchy with Galactus. He will be the main villian I think along with maybe a Sympiote thing with Venom, Carnage and the rest of them.

Like a Secret Wars game.

my ambition is, that I want to play X MEN LEGENDS 3. I prefer like X men Legends 3 to Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. I want X men Legends 3 give all of us 35 - 50 playable characters for all platform ( PS Universe, PS3, PS2, PSP, Wii, Nintendo Ds, X box 360, etc ). I believe X men Legends 3 is the most amazing than marvel Ultimate Alliance 2.

    • Yeah, you don't know what you're talking about, "Pole."  Disney lets each division and studio operate with a huge amount of autonomy. Marvel Studios takes care of Marvel Studios business, including hiring and all that goes with it, like background checks. The autonomy they operate with was earned, but it's also given out of necessity; despite what people want to believe, Disney is just too damn busy with their own operations to micro-manage Marvel Studios, Pixar and Lucasfilm. To suggest they all knew about the tweets years ago is pure ignorant speculation. Marvel Studios may have, but Disney didn't. The real reason for the firing is a simple one: Disney's core value, the ideal everything revolves around and something ingrained into their corporate culture, is that childhood is sacred, special and magical. If there is one line you definitely can't cross with them, it's that. Disney couldn't care less about the conservo-twats who dug the tweets up or what supposed pressure they brought to bear. The truth is, Disney would've fired Gunn once they became aware of the tweets, regardless of the way they were discovered/brought to their attention. As I said, those tweets crossed an uncrossable line with Disney. You're apparently also ignorant of Disney's history of cutting ties with profitable people who exhibit unsavory character flaws. For example, once accusations came to light and an investigation was made, they fired John Lasseter--Pixar guru and animation genius who turned Disney animation around--because he had become an abusive drunk. That's a huge loss for Disney there. You just know Dreamworks or Illumination would love to snap him up asap. Or maybe you didn't know that they forced the Weinsteins out of Miramax and then sold it off completely because they heard about Harvey W's atrocious reputation, but couldn't find anyone to step forward and press charges. They believed what they heard though, and cut ties rather than associate with a horrible person, no matter how much money he brought in. Also, Gunn was an unknown when he was hired BY MARVEL STUDIOS (and not Disney). It was actually a huge gamble to hire him as the director of a big budget flick about an obscure group of comic characters the general movie-going public knew nothing of, let alone cared about. He hadn't done anything to suggest he was capable of helming such a project. He wasn't sought after. He wasn't admired or in demand. To assert Disney knew beforehand and turned a blind eye because of the money he'd bring in is just astoundingly stupid, lacking in both facts and common sense, and full of shat.
    • Don't care about the game. Not going to buy a PS4 for one game. Prefer my 1X for gaming. It looks like the Devs did a nice job. Folks should have a good time.   I do have a pre order in for the Legends figure based on game though.
    • PM sent if you’re still looking for the boxcar.
    • Went to three Walgreens after work.  The newest legends any of them had were from the first Deadpool wave.
    • The unmasked head is definitely the best feature of this figure.  I saw some other reviews and people got better painted ones so I guess you were no so lucky. The hair to the side puts some dramatic effect but limits a bit which poses you can put the figure on.  But what really bothers me and I think all are like this, is the huge gap in the crotch area. Tha is very ugly. Psylocke has that problem too, but this figure looks a lot worse. I think that they should not use legs so skinny because that would make it easier to hide or just fix the peg and sue a shorter one.  In comparison I think the X-Force version looks better and the fact you can put the unmasked head on it is a plus.
