New Punisher HML

Recommended Posts

Is the new Punisher Variant (Nemesis BAF) supossed to be Frank Castle or the villian known as Hitman. I would assmue it is Castle, but flipping threw some old stuff, I came accross an old villian of his known as Hitman. Check out Punisher War Journal (Vol.1) # 61. He wore the skull mask over his face.

It's based on the video game, that came out in 05. Theres a part in the game were he goes to Nixon Island and meets up with Fury, he's in that camo. Great game, a must have for Punisher fans.

This and that game is friggin' awesome for anyone, even if you're not really a fan of the Punisher, it's just awesomly fun.

I've been picking up The Punisher comics since right before Ennis's "welcome back frank" and I think grand nixon island comes after that arch, and I don't think he's got that camo on like that. Heres a pick from the back of the game box

I hope I can find both of them. I'm really digging the normal one and the camo is jut plain badass. Nixon Island and Riker's Island were my two favorite levels from the game.

He did have an outfit very similar to that in the comics before the game was released. I'll try to find my copy and get a scan of it.

Which comics were it in? I might have to hunt that down.

Well, I can admit when I'm wrong, and apparently I'm wrong. I looked through the comics and couldn't find it. I could have sworn it was there though. I've been reading everything Punisher for years now and thought I remembered seeing it.

No biggie. Hopefully sometime in either Max or something they'll use that costume. I love the look.

I don't think so. They don't do that kind of stuff in MAX. But, then again, with Garth Ennis leaving soon who knows what they next guy is gonna do.

    • Marvel Select Superior Spider-Man.  I think it is (or was) a Disney Store Exclusive.
    • FINALLY. Just....delighted. Could it be a little better in places? Yes, but it's Alpha Flight. It's the full team (or close enough). Is this the best Marvel Legends box-set since Thunderbolts? Yes. Does this hammer literally everything at SDCC? Yes.  This has been teased and teased for literally a decade. Probably, you'll remember when the Deadpool/Sasquatch BAF wave was previewed, it was spoken of/rumoured to be 'The Alpha Flight wave'. Then, they showed the Wendigo BAF from the X-Force wave at one of the 'cons, and then that became 'the Alpha Flight wave'. Before this reveal, best you could hope for was maybe the twins in a two-pack or in an X-wave. This though...just beautiful. McHogan - re who's missing? from the first 12 issues, it's missing just Marina, but from the classic era of Flight (up to issue #50 or so) It's also missing: Box (I) (Roger Bochs, who I would just loved to have seen), Box (II) (Madison Jeffries), Talisman (sad about that, too). Nemesis, Laura Dean, Goblin, Persuasion/Purple Girl, Wild Child, Windshear, Diamond Lil, Sasquatch (II) ('Wanda Langkowski'), 'big' Puck & Windshear.
