X-Men Classics Iceman "Bobby Drake" Variant

Around when did Iceman start wearing the costume the figure is wearing, I've seen a similar one that is the same blue but a with a lighter blue instead of the white. It looks very similar to Jim Lee's designs. Can anyone please enlighten me?

I dont really know when he started wearing it, but i remember he wore the one with a lighter blue and dark blue outfit in the x-men animated series "cold comfort". which is bad ass cause x-factor is there as well. only thing i hate is they made him seem like an A-hole in that episode, instead of the cool iceman in the comics.

it's costume #9, so I kinda figured it was. I want to get that figure but the prices are ridiculous. Maybe I'll spot him at comic con and haggle.
