which do you prefer classic marvel or modern

To me, a legend implies a classic, or iconic figure, so by that definition, I would rather have figures of the characters I grew up reading. Sometimes though, when the right team comes along, a run on a comic can become an instant classic, making those characters legends. Brubaker and Epting have done that with their Captain America stories; a Winter Soldier figure tops my wishlist of all figures in the MU.

From there though, I'd much rather have classic X-Men figures such as Storm, Rogue or Polaris, then any of the New X-Men. Same goes for the Avengers...don't care about getting an Ares BAF when I'd much rather have a USAgent or a Mockingbird.

I hope they would release an X-Men Wave in 2009 to coincide with the Wolverine Origins Movie. The best time to release themed waves is to release in conjunction with a Marvel movie. And the key is to make it compatible with an established line like 6 inch Legends line. Unlike in 2007, when Spider Man Movie opened and fans were gearing up for the 6" figures and the big letdown with a 5" inch line instead. That was a huge blunder on Hasbro's part. And the release of Movie related 6" SM figures many months down the line did little after the enthusiasm has died down. Same with the initial Hulk Movie figures, we could have seen a Legends sized Abomination or Super Soldier Emil Blonsky and various ML sized Hulk foes based on the videogame, but again nothing along those lines. An opportunity was lost when it presented itself.

I like both... I can't pick.

Classic.1 - every thing was so easy to follow, not people in one group being in 4 others, or 1 comic burst out to 18.

Classic.2 -The costumes for the figures look better don't look over-done

Modern.1 - They got the coolest characters and powers. There costumes are also great.

Modern.2 - There articulation on the figures are better then the ones they done in the 90's.
