I have to get that Iron Spidey...and sell the other one, this one looks comic accurate. Nice find!

The original Spider-Man classics one is better, but this is not a horrible reissue.

I just got these figs. McSpidey is great. IronSpider is fine(Color is off. Paint is a bit sloppy) and the translucent one is cool. At least now I can make my Scarlet Spider set(BTW the two IronSpider figs are facing opposite directions in the packages so that looks cool). But here's the big rub, and dang me for not noticing. Venom has the rubber head action jaws feature. It's a great looking figure. Really raw, and I like the sloppiness it has. Makes it much more visceral. But after my Morbius rubber face action feature decayed into a blob, I'm ticked that this cool fig is destined for the same fate. Badsbro, stop with the action features. The Black suit SPidey in this set has the useless missile firing arm. It doesn't look bad (Not as good as the Red Hulk one) but that freakin action feature!!! Oh, yeah, the two Venoms I got are in completely different poses in the packs. Not even close like they settled or something. Can't see any other differences, but for MIB collectors it's something to look for.

Goblin is no different and I was never crazy about that one anyway. Carnage, well, I gotta find my original to compare, so I'll reserve judgement.

you do realise that Spider-man Classics has and always will have Action Features. It not for us that Classics line is done it for the kiddies. always has been. the only thing that for us is the different characters like Tarnuala and Juggernaut (who will probally have a swing arm feature.)

Yes, owning them all I realize that "Most" Spider-Man classics had action features. The problem is with the ones that screw up the figures. In the old days they made the action features more of an add-on. A hang glider on a great fully articulated Black Costume Spider-Man is not the same as arms that don't bend or faces that melt off. It's totally possible to make these figs for "Us" and still be kid fun.

Hey that Venom mold had the rubber head when TB released, not like Hasbro was gonna totally redo it with a neck and new head to get rid of that when they could just straight up repaint it(TB didn't either when they released it in clear purple/smokey plastic either)

You are absolutely correct. I totally lapsed cause I wanted the figure so bad. It really is a great looking figure. Just knowing it's got a limited shelf life is sad.

Maybe it'll last longer then Morby? My brother has the TB versio of Venom and so far his rubber is ok( i did take it off the neck to see what it looks like though :P but ok still none the less )

I picked up Iron spidey and his varient I like them both and should have gotten venom as well, I also bought mcfarlane spidey, which I have the original, but why did they re-release him darker, is that because of the New Avengers? He seems darker in some of the issues.

Did you find them at Walmart? I cannot find them anywheres!
