New York/Northeast Legends finds??

Has anyone in the New York (Long Island area) or anywhere in the Northeast come across any Marvel Legends Two-Packs, Red Hulk figs or New Spider-Man Classics??

The only ones I have found were one Wolverine/Forge (which I grabbed) and one Mr.Fantastic/Thing (which I passed).

I am not sure if this area is the last to get stuff, which it seemed like with the Hulk FFF Wave. I only saw the FFF wave in stores for about a week, but I was lucky enough to get all eight figures.

I am dying to buy all the new figures, but I just can't stand calling (because nobody at Target/Wal-Mart has a clue) and driving around for hours.

Tell me about it. I live in the bronx. I went to a target in the bronx, one in Mt. Vernon, one at the Pallisades mall and one in white plains last week. no luck. went to the one in the pallisades again. This time they had a DCUC green lantern and a Danger ML. The sales person went to "check the back for me". No luck. And she didnt have a clue about an exclusive target series. Went to the one in white plains again, and got some disgruntled kid to ask me if i needed help. When i pointed to a danger warming the ML pegs there, he said thats all they had. When i pushed him further and asked him to check the back, the big SIGHHHH came out. He pretended to check the back via his scanner and said, nope, thats all we have. Soooooo, retail shopping for this series, and likely the Ares wave is really not worth the time and effort. The gas spent on the hunt equals the shipping and part of the mark-up when buying them online. May have to wait a bit longer, but the stupidity you encounter in these stores is mind numbing

It was a frustrating exercise in futility. The sad part is, they probably have them in the back, where they never really checked. They don't seem to listen or know their product very well. I even told them I'd be interested in buying the case if they had one, to intice the business side of them, but they can really care less. I was told the "toy specialist" wasn't in today.

Count yourselves lucky. I live in Montreal and all I can find is Emma Frost, Hercules, Banshee and Frasier as the Beast. That's if I'm lucky. I make a weekly run to all the dept stores that I can get to and we don't even have the FFF series or the 2 packs. Beyond not having Target as a Canadian store, we get jipped especially bad in Quebec because government regulations state that the packaging has to be bi-lingual. So, I guess, Hasbro just doesn't want to bother with it and we get nothing.

At last, I found Spiral, Spider-Man (Black Costume), Adam Warlock & Wolverine (Black Variant) at a Target here in Long Island. Yup, tyhe price of this wave and all Marvel Legends has gone up to $14.99. The Hulk FFF BAF wave is now $15.99. The Hulk Movie figures are now $10.99.

This is getting a little pricey, I can understand the price of the FFF Wave being $14.99 because they are much bigger figures, but to have HML increase in price by 50% is crazy! I would have assumed that they would have gone up to $10.99 or even $11.99. So it is now going to cost us $90 to build Red Hulk & Nemesis, and $120 to build Ares. Sweet, I can't wait to pay so much more!!!

I'm also on Long Island and I have yet to see the Red Hulk wave. I found 3 of the 4 1st wave 2-packs at a Walmart, no Fury/Cap, and that's it. I've seen 2 Green Lanterns, a damaged regular Sinestro and the variants from DCUC wave 3 at a Target. I appreciate that the middle of August was a little early to find things supposedly shipping September, but now it's the middle of Sepetember. In the immortal words of our leader - Bring It On!
