**Contest #25**

Contest is over! @Floydy is the winner.

This is going to be a riddle. If you solve it and give me the correct answer, you get the code via PM.

A priest goes to a holy town where there are three shrines. In front of each shrine, there is a sacred pond. The sacred pond has a property that, if you put any number of flowers into it, it will double them. The priest brought with him a few flowers. He goes to the first pond, washes his feet, washes his flowers (and hence gets double), goes to the shrine and offers some of his flowers.

He then carries the remaining flowers to the next pond, washes his feet, washes the flowers (hence doubling them), visits the shrine and offers some more of his flowers.

Finally, he visits the last shrine, washes his feet, washes the flowers (hence doubling them), and offers all the remaining flowers at the last shrine.

The priest offers the same number of flowers at all the three shrines. So, how many flowers did he bring, and how many did he offer at each shrine?

Answer this and you get an invite!

**ANSWER:**

He brings 7 flowers and offers 8 at each shrine. The final amount should be multiplied 3 times by 2. So, the smallest answer is 7 & 8. Other possible answer is 14 & 16, 21 & 24 etc.
