Black Spidey from the new Classics wave? I wAs desperAte for new figs and I'd pasted him up twice before but yesterday I bought him. I alreAdy hAve Rulk Symboite Spidey and the one from 2001 so in no way did I need him but I did it anyway. I liked the head sculpt even though he seemed too tAll. I sAw the action feature in his wrist but I thought it only affected his wrist but his whole forearm is useless. I guess I'll stick him At the very back of the Spidey shelf but dAmn that was a wAste of $10. I guess thats whAt hAppens when there are no new GI Joes At the store.

I actually really like the SM from the Sentinel series, except that the leg on mine is bent like Tom Brady's knee from the first game of the NFL season.

I really don't like the SM Classics Morbius figure. It is just one of the fugliest things I've ever had the displeasure of seeing.

Anyway, since the new Hasbro Spider-Man figures are basically just reissues of previous ones with new paint-jobs, think we'll be seeing more rereleases?

My complaint about that figure is the webbing attaching his arms to his body. He's not a flying squirrel, hes a spider. And his paint was too dark. Plus his head was too little.

I believe he was originally drawn with webbing in his armpits and that's what that fig is - original SM. I like the fig. It's not my fav SM, but it's a good fig. Sadly, I lost the webbing.

yeah....1st appearence spidey did suck. i hated that they used him for stan lee as well. i agree that alot of the SMC figs were ok at best, but ya gotta buy them to complete your collection. shocker was great except for his arms, and the knob on his back. electro was cool except for the arms, hydro man's arms were awful! and the beetle shouldve been classic. everyone else was cool(except rhino and lizard)

the lizard was horrible. it was very different from the lizard i grew up with. the rhino was extremely hard to stand up. Ans hydro man was by far the worst smc figure ever made. Zero poseability. if and when they come out with a better one, its going strait to the trash can.

yeah....i had to go with the ML box set rhino and lizard. i think that SMC figs should just have action accessories, instesd of built in actions.

I's love to find out how much more expensive/cheaper it is to make action features instead of articulation.

As for 1st Appearance Spider-Man, he did look like that back in Amazing Fantasy 15. My only complaint (besides the fact that Toybiz effed up the webbing) is his arms are a tad skinny. Morbius looks crappy, but so does every other vampire. Hydro Man was an epic failure of everything, so he needs a classic look too.
