I hope these things flop big time. If only to piss of the people who like them.

3 3/4 marvel universe will eventually flop in the long run just like how marvel legends flopped recently and im sure it pissed you off. imagine how pissed off the O.G. collectors were when the old marvel line got cancelled and they had to start over.

i'm only hyped about it cause i'm not complete with my marvel legends and my ML's are all loose. this line will give me the chance to collect all of them from wave 1 and keep them MOC. yay-yay.

I'll say I'm just making a joke based on all the doomsday threads that are posted.

No I think you have something there. They must be cancelled cause we haven't had any news. Just some faked pictures from overseas, and some guy who made some customs and tricked people into thinking they are real. It's gotta be cancelled. I thought about calling HAsbro to see if they said the lines was officially cancelled, but figured they would, so it's confirmed. They are moving to the 1 1/8 size to save on plastic cause gas prices are, well, were high, and now they are at record lows so that is making people drive more, but... CAN"T YOU SEE THEY ARE CANCELLED!!!! THey must be!! Oh the toymanity!!

wait? how the hell did singapore get their stash first?

It's a common occurrence. The toys are manufactured in China, and have a tendency to "fall off the truck/boat" in Asian markets (Singapore and the Philippines) 1-3 months (or more) before they show up in the United States.

To clarify: This is not likely stuff that was found on a "major retailer" shelf. It's likely either pirated/stolen and sold in a secondary market shop, or are factory cast-offs that someone rooted through the garbage bins to find and then sold on the secondary market. Many Singapore and Filipino Ebayers then sell them to gullible US buyers who "gotta have it FIRST!" for horrifically inflated prices.

However, carded samples showing up this early is a pretty good sign that this is going to be some kind of "structured" launch. Unless these are showing up way earlier than anticipated.

These are not always cast-offs or factory errors. These are carded merchandise and they must have an arrangement with the local distributors from where these are actually manufactured (China). It's a known fact that collectors in China, Hongkong or Singapore get first shipments before us in the mainland. Our advantage here is that we get the running changes if there's any flaws in the early runs. To those who try to get ahead and obtain "early" product, well you gotta pay up (EBay) or have good hookups.
