The new DD's are tiny and are a scale shorter like the newer ML's. The skull size is a dead giveaway and they probably will have to be displayed with the other smallies like Black Panther, Wonder Man, new Johhny Storm, FFML Silver Surfer, Ben Grimm, new Vision, Movie Iron Man, HR Iron Man, etc.

Ghost rider movie, x-3, punisher, DD...all of those we could have done without the figs.

 

Technically, even the really popular ones didn't need them because they already had 3+ figs int he MLs alone. Like IM, Hulk, Wolvie, etc.

 

Punisher and daredevil only got one figure, and in DD's case, it wasn't very good.

 

I'm planning on using the new ML Punisher as a stand-in, not really accurate, but it'll do.

Not really. Most of them are pretty accurate, and feature decent sculpts.

 

 

 

I can't wait for these to hit. The figures look awesome, and don't seem to have any issues other than the glove/boot color could stand to be darker. Still, I gotta give Hasbro credit for giving us a Yellow Daredevil, and a pretty kick-butt red one as well.

 

Though I will admit, the FO version looks more like Frank Miller's Daredevil.

Yes face Off DD's face is the closest we've gotten to a Frak Miller DD.

Indeed. My problem with FO Daredevil has always been his "My costumes one-size too large" look. I've always been partial to the Urban Legends boxset DD.

These look pretty good. I wish Holocaust was a bit more translucent and that beast was a little larger, but overall I think this line looks great.

I've been using the SMC DD for display for a long time, the FO one never looked right to me. This new one will be replacing the SMC one.

So I take it there will not be the blue-tint Blackbolt variant. To me that one looked way better than the all black one, but maybe it will show up a little while after the wave hits similar to the Spiral variant or Classic Hulk Variant. I wish Nova would have the skin-tone finger tips like the one at SDCC, becuase I think that is how this costume actually looked in comics, oh well at least we get a Nova.

We could still get the BB variant eventually like you said. Nova could always get a running change or something too, but I agree it still sucks.

Me too. I've always thought the SMC DD looked perfect apart from the weird smirk, but I'm not sure if the new one will replace him or not. He looks a little on the small side and I'm not digging the pink-ish gloves. I will, however, be definitely getting the Yellow DD because he looks incredible.

I'm betting whoever took the pics couldn't find him yet. They should have used the Bullseye body for BlackBolt. Would have been much better. Oh well, time for customs!

The FO DD looks like Joe Quesada's art IMO. I still think it's pretty good.

 

I actually really like Hasbro's MLs as of late, except for the SIZE issues. They're much too small. It ruins the fun of pairing them with DCUC (and I guess with ToyBiz MLs).

Compare skull sizes with FO Cap, FFML Reed Richards, Gambit or Sabretooth and you'll see what I mean.
