X-Men Origins Wolverine figure looks like crap

look at where the claws come out the same place they did in the movies so i thnk it may be from the next movie

The Wolverine movie figures are going to be 4" scale. Already confirmed by Target computer listings.

i knew that they wont look like hugh jackman. marvel hasbro section, you realy deserve the price of the best screwups devision in the world. i still willwait to see the official pics but knowing those guys wont put much effort in it.

And what about Toybiz? most of their X1 and X2 figures of Wolvy didn't really look like Jackman either.

 

And yeah i'd say it's Joe/MU scale by looking at it(and most 25th Joes these days have double knees also)

 

Wish it was ML scale though, the body looks great and would make a nice spy Wolvy.

 

 

then you should check "claw strike wolverine" from x-men united wave2. this one looks pretty awesome but the articulations were so bad. still toybiz did improvements to there figures. specialy in the actors likeness. hasbro dont.

they have all horrible likeness. the only ones i kind of like are mary jane and sandman from the spiderman trilogy wave. why do you think we dont get a

all those figs would sell but they wont do them because they cant do them. i can not find one jjj anywhere. so i am sure that they would sell.

 

now to this figure. it does look like it is for a comic wave and not a movie wave but who knows.

 

You make a good point, Haary figure from the sandman wave also didn't have a removable mask, but how about x3 figures, they had some face likeness.

its not a 3 3/4 inch fig because it has ball jointed hips. the MU figs dont have a ball joint.

Not all ML have ball jointed hips either. You wouldn't see a sculpt like Doc Samson and automatically say it couldn't be ML.

theres not 1 MU fig with ball jointed legs, so if it is 3 3/4, its not a MU.

that true but you should note something. When they originally came up with Wolverine the idea was for him to have the claw on glove, hence the reason they came out the back of the hands. It was later decided to make the come out of his knuckle but because they have being coming out of the back of his hands for a while they decided to keep it that way.

nope.... the claws used to be curved and circlular, and worked in the comic, but was akward in real life. plus...they had started drawing the claws flat. since the claws are wrist to elbow in lenth, and since they started drawing them straight, it made sense to do it that way for the movie. now they just draw them that way in the comic.

There's a lot of people that could potentially show up. But at the very least 3 slots out of the assortment will be taken up by at least two Wolverine versions and at least one Sabretooth. Given an average of 6-8 figures in an assortment:

 

Wolverine (Team X)

Wolverine ("Movie" version)

Sabretooth (Possibly Team X?)

Maverick (May as well complete Team X while the opportunity is there)

Deadpool (Hasbro knows there's demand, and he's showing up in the movie)

 

 

Beyond that...who knows? Probably lots of Weapon X-based folks. Though I wouldn't be surprised to see at least one more Wolverine (if not two) in the mix. When has Hasbro ever passed up the opportunity to overproduce a "core character?" (Iron Man line, I'm looking at you....)

if it is a wolverine ml it might just be some Two pack with Maybe Marverick or Team X Sabretooth with him. otherwise the other character will be out of theme with him.

i hope they do a deadpool. you know they arent going to do anything but use most of the union jack sculpt to make him(deadpool) as long as he has an extra head, ill be cool.

This further confirms my suspicion that we will get no costumed characters. This movie looks like it takes place in a military setting and all the characters will be wearing military gear, civilian clothes, or possibly black spy gear.

 

sorry to post again, but yeah i think the scuplt is pretty dope. dont know about that dumb helmet though. maybe this is a 3 3/4 scale? i dunno. good news is that we'll probabaly get a deadpool figure fo rthis series. woo hoo!!

 

Check the knees. 3 3/4" figs don't have double jointed knees. This appears to be legends scale (which is cool with me).

 

At the very least we should get some guns out of it.

 

This is clearly 3 3/4 scale. Yes they do have double jointed knees. This figure has the same ArticulAtion as the new GI Joes except for the ball hips.
