Need Help

I was trying to crazy glue the shoulder pad of my apocalypse back on, and I didn't realise how garbage it was. It ended up being really watery and leaked down the side. Now I have dried crazy glue on his right chest in the crevasses. Any suggestions on how to get it off? I got some off just using hot water, but it wasn't easy.

I would say water or have you tried pulling or peeling it off? That might work.

Just about the only thing that will dissolve Krazy or Super glue is acetone, a.k.a. nail polish remover. WARNING: This cure can sometimes be worse than the problem. If there are any paint apps under the glue they will probably be affected. The plastic itself should be okay, as long as you don't use to much or leave it on too long. If you decide to do it, try wiping just a little bit on one small area and see how it goes. Good luck.

There's another cleaning solution called "Mineral Spirits". I use this when I'm making a custom and stray out of a line, I dab a bit on a needle and softly scratch it off. This stuff can also cleaned the tar off my kitchen floor....don't ask. So, you may try it.

you pulled out the "big gun"! i've effed up many figures with acetone. my advice, if youve never used acetone, dont start! or like Ninjak said...be careful!

Nail polish remover CAN work to get stuff like that off, but i used to use it to get rid of colours... so would no suggest it, beter trying to peel/rub it off useing water ect, stay away from the nail polish remover.

Okay. I take it back. You'd probably better steer clear of the nail polish remover. I've used it a couple of times with some success, but I wouldn't want you to screw up your fig based on my advice.

Best advice for acetone? Don't rush the process. Do whatever it is your doing over the course of about a day.
