i found all three comic packs of wave 1 in southern california. i have found them at almost every target and walmart i have been to. also i have found the daredevil/surfer/ironman at a toysrus in point loma.

Got my XMO deluxe Deadpool with cannon from HTS. Also found those little Handful of Heroes.

Just wanted to drop a line to say I found 2 cases of the XMO: Wolverine Deluxe packs at a local Walmart. I passed on them myself I think these figures are pretty shoddy compared to MU and I'm 99% sure these will show up at discount stores in mass quantities.

I'm in Northern VA (Manassas). I also found The Thing variant (see pics threads for good images of this figure, the first I've seen online ). And I got my SDCC MU exclusives from HTS today. It's a good day!

Targets in ATL have cases of the Comic Packs. A friend picked me up Thunderball and Spider-Man. His wife went thru 4 of them to find me the best one. She complained that the paints were messed up on most of them.

She is a make up artist. He on the other hand told her that the toys were for customs, but she told him to pick the best of the lot. They are good friends, and I guess my wife & I will have to take them to dinner for this...

picked up the yellow dd, classic stealth iron man, and silver surfer 3 pack today. 30 bucks was a rip off. the silver surfer is the ugliest thing i have ever seen, im not real sure why they bothered. But the yellow dd and classic stealth iron man were worth it, i guess.

I was lucky to find a the wolverine/human torch comic pack and that was only because they had barely put them out. Is the wolverine/human torch pack very hard to find? I also found the 70th anniversary daredevil/stealth ironman/white silver surfer at toy's r us. There where only 2 but, I can't find the army builder set or the amazing friends set anywhere in southern California. Is anybody else having luck finding them? Toys r us don't have them on their web site at all.

they are on there, but they are not pictured. it says no picture available. another thread has links to them. and from the cases i got at work the cases had 4 sm/thunderball, 2 cap/klaw, and 2 wolv torch. I would assume that was how all the cases will be until wave 2 or until the revisions come out.

picked up all the wolv. deluxe today at work(wal mart). case packed with:

1 blob / sabretooth

2 deadpool

2 weapon x

3 logan / bike

 

no sign of wolverine / colossus

I really like the way those Hydra and Shield agents are looking in quantity. I want to army build these but so far I'm not finding enough of this set, only the one I bought so far. I seriously hope that given time this will be easier to find.

 

PS. On a side note at my local TRU, though they didn't have any in, I noticed these have been marked up to $24.99 (the DD/IM/SS set is still $29.99 btw). Anyone else seeing this mark up?

I really want Nick Fury. I really don't want to buy the comics to get him and I really don't want to 80+ off ebay. He is the only figure that I am missing and I thought about buying the comics to get him, but I don't know if they have anymore in stock. What would you do?

That one is better then the MU one. But I am not that good at making customs.

i'd say the comics are worth it. if you read 60 comics in a year than the price is already killed. it was a good way for me to catch up on some stories i havent had a chance to read.

 

and i really like my nick figure.

Yeah, I agree. The Fury figure's great, but I actually like the digital comics way more. I spend more time reading online now than I do reading my TPBs. It's really cool to have that large of database right at you fingertips.
