I see a ton of people NOT logged in as guests but that have actual usernames and I've never seen them post. I guess the point is they don't always have to just be a guest to be a scalper

 

we're not all scalpers, honest. i just signed up a few days ago and have been reading the forums for info, i just got into these figures recently (literally, like last week) so i don't have much to contribute yet.

 

i did spend about $350 in a week picking up these Marvel Universe figures and a few GI Joes, so now i'm mostly looking forward to the new set. i want that cyclops bad.

 

but this is my first post, so hi everyone.

You picked a great time to start collecting. Nearly everything from the previous waves are easily available. 3 months ago you'd be lucky if you saw more than an AIM soldier and 10 Iron Men. Welcome!

in other news, seems my tru got one wave 13 case maybe but sold out over the 2 fer weekend and just got in some kinda revision case. nothing left that i needed cept a mod armor iron man but if i get a case from bbts or something, then buying anything in the store is moot.

haha i attribute all this to the fact that wave 13, gigantic battles, and the 2 packs are hitting all at once in various places in varying quantities. hope you guys can resolve your differences since we're all in this together, even the scalpers who may or may not be lurking in the shadows.

My theory is..Scalpers are actually Skrulls as part of an secret invasion attack. They have been secretly replacing collectors and plan to take over the collecting community.

 

So the real question is... Who do you trust?

i was thinking about that too. even those in the vocal community could be a skrul- i mean scalper. that or there are those who try to battle their scalper side or who are forever consumed by it and only using the collector side as a facade.

i finally found the GB packs at walmart in milpitas CA.

Found only the Patch/Samurai packs(3) today at Walmart in Austin. Also had Yellow Jacket, Black Widow, Red Hulk, Skrull, Red ninja and 2 Goliath packs. Didn't need anything other than the Wolvie 2 pack. BTW there were 3 overflowing pegs of the other 2 packs

Found a variant ronin and a bullseye at walmart in whiteplains.

Of course scalpers grabbed everything else that was rare. The gigantic battles were gone already.

Ah, one hour commute and what I figured....

 

They had finally gotten some revision figures after 4 months of empty pegs.

And ironically when the the new wave should be out.

 

The tru and target have nothing except ironman and expecting nothing anytime soon.

I don't know if anyone from MA posts here, but I'm gonna take a ride to some Boston Targets. Last time I went, they were clogged with revision cases, so it'll be a miracle if the new wave has hit.
