saw yet another SS Venom today at Target. I swear that when I break down and spend a little more to get something through the internet, it starts popping up all over the place.

Got one more Hydra soldier today too. Just the movie colors though.

And it's not MU, but I finally got the 6" Nick Fury and the WWII Cap figs at Walmart today!!! Nick is one bad looking Mo, I gotta say.

I can't get to my 6" displays because I have a mess in front of them, so I had to put him with my 3.75" Cap stuff in my work area.

Took a trip to Target today and a sales rep was nice enough to tell me there was another MU box in the back. He went and brought it out but unfortunately it was a box of Thor figures. Old ones.

I was thrilled that a Target guy was that nice but was pretty upset I spent five minutes getting excited while he was in the back getting the box. I kept thinking I was going to find buried treasure.

Left with only an Ultron. Sad day.

Of course, wish me luck. I'm driving home for Thanksgiving soon and have all the Walmarts and Targets on the way mapped out. I think I'll stop by all of them in hopes of finding that buried treasure.

Awesome haul at the comic book store yesterday!!!!!

Nabbed:

DCUC Stargirl

DCUC Atom

DCUC Hawkman

DCUC Lord Naga

(completed my S.T.R.I.P.E. figure)

MU Captain Marvel

MU Daredevil/Bullseye 2pack

MU Quicksilver/Wonder Man 2pack

All caught up and didn't even know the new MU 2packs were available! Only saw Daredevil/Bullseye at the store, but asked a salesperson if they had Quicksilver/Wonder Man in stock, so he went back and brought 2 to the sales floor. Of course I weighed out best paint job. As a die-hard Avengers fan I'm SO happy to have Quicksilver and Wonder Man!

Midtown Comics?

Grand Central or Times Square?

Forbidden Planet near Union Square!

What did you think the variant Absorbing Man was?

This/these:

Those are the images in the database for this wave. And I've never seen a completely metallic AbMan anywhere else. Guess I missed a memo...

Has anyone tried to swap the upper torso/arms/head of the Secret Wars "transitioning" Absorbing Man onto the Lower torso/legs of the new "normal" Absorbing Man so that there's a transitioning one with the white/black striped pants?

Is this easy to do? I've never tried to pop off at that joint before, but I would like a transitioning version with the new pants.

At the TRU 3-for-2 sale today, I picked up Darkhawk, 70's Ms. Marvel (is she in a recent revision?) and Renegades Duke. I got Duke mainly for his head; it's the most Pym-like head I think I've seen yet. Though it may work nicely for Iron Fist.

At Walmart this evening, I saw a Stark-head and 2 Icemans (Icemen?). It's the first remnants of that wave I've come across in the Dallas area so far. I passed on them, since Wolvie is the only one I really want.

Also, forgot to post a week or so ago when I snagged the white FF set at Walmart. I've seen enough of all the 3-packs in stock at both Walmarts and TRUs that I think I'll wait for a sale/clearance before I pick up the GotG set.

I like saying Icemans

since it's a proper noun based on a singular entity.

Icemen indicates something entirely different.

Also it sounds adorable ^.^

I don't know what happened at work, the endcap that was crammed with Spidey figures disappeared, I guess they were all backstocked, as the other location with the Marvel did not and could not accommodate such a large display...

But we have been getting a lot of Venoms lately which is neat.

Oof! Dude, that place is super expensive, isn't it? I've only gone in there once.

I cannot find the MU display at my local Target for love nor money. Any thoughts as to where it might be? Are they supposed to be consistent from store to store?
