It seems like these translucent variants are the only ones who get produced after the main figure is out. Every other variant seems to come first...

Yeah, that was sarcasm. It seems bizarre to me when they are releasing way better quality versions of these figures that they bother to send more of the crappy older versions alongside them.

Seems like their way of producing twice the amount of that character by using two molds at the same time.

 

It looks stupid to collectors, but I bet a lot of kids don't give much of a crap either way. And just imagine the amount of kids who ask for a Hulk for their birthday and meant the good one but Mom got the old one.

 

I'm sure they'll still sell.

I'm very jealous of your King Laufey. Those are EXTREMELY rare in the states. The only ones on eBay anymore are Canadian Packaging ones.

 

I'm only missing King Laufey and King Loki from my MOC Thor collection. I wish I had a "Ollie's Bartain Outlet" here in Albuquerque...

Very quick! How's the box condition? I always worry about that with TRU.com...

 

 

The box condition is okay. It seems it may have been very slightly banged up during shipping as one edge is a little frayed. TRU only put balloon packing on two sides of the box while the one corner was likely to suffer any banging up the shipping box experienced. But everything on the inside is perfect. I'll post a picture later tonight when I put it all together!
