3 3/4" sighting and hauls

Went to 5 TJMaxx today and no Sentinel whatsoever comic color or regular. Guess today isn't really a good day for them to stock anyway...

 

Oh well, just wanted the comic colored one to open since I have the SDCC one MISB.

I ordered one of those cases from that Hong Kong Ebay store and it got here really fast. With shipping, it only ended up being a little more then BBTS...so I canceled my preorder.

 

I just found the entire Black Widow case at Wal-Mart, all priced at $1 each!! $13 something for the entire case.

 

how the heck did that happen!?!?! I haven't heard of them being clearanced anywhere else.. and usually things only go on clearance for like 5 bucks at first

 

Yup, I watched one Walmart in my area go from $5 to $3 to $1. They were pretty much sold out before they hit $1' but I found one under the isle, lol.

 

I'd return some there, but the customer service peeps know my trick, so they don't let me anymore...

Got these in the mail yesterday...Beta Ray Bill is awesome and I like The Beast a lot more then I thought I would. Kraven, made me break out my dusty Black Suited Spiderman!

 

Where'd you get yours from? Preorder?

No luck on finding the sentinel at the two TJ Maxx stores I tried this morning. I did snag another Hydra trooper and a Air Drone though.

Sorry, blastaar was separate...the wave 18 case was the one with the 2x BRB, 2x new hulk, 2x ultimate spidey, 2x kraven, 2x beast, ghost rider and wave 1 hulk.

I always find it funny that some stores, like TJ Maxx, are toy heavens for some people, offering hidden gems that somehow made their way to the public...while other TJ Maxx's are rotting outhouses of Spiderman 2 toys and Jar Jar Binks figures. Mine falls in the latter category...

I think they'll be a mix at this point. Which sucks for blind ordering like this.

Well, no Master of Evil set for me. My lady just lost her id, she will not be able to get to San Diego and she will not be able to get into the convention so there it goes.

 

Now I need to figure out a way just to get her back here. This is complete and utterly crushing disappointment.

Surely she has more than one picture ID? I think you could go into a Bank and they'll give you one for checking accounts these days...

 

 

And I'm sure if she can provide the pertinent info at the con, she can get them to release her badge. She can't be the first or only person to not have a picture ID. Credit Card number, online name, date of purchase, there's tons of info bits they can verify with...

Well Ebay prices have gone down drastically. You can snag one for 70$ free shipping now compared to the 90$+shipping that they were going for when they first went up. Or try HTS but they go fast there.

All her picture ids were in the one wallet and her bank and everything is in this state. She's not in San Diego yet and her plane tickets are in her name and well, she needs the picture id. So I have no idea how she can even get her info without that, plus the con is doing id checks this year apparently so without it, she is doomed.

 

Her card, everything was in one wallet, which I still have yet to figure why she even had it out since she doesn't remember having a reason to take it out.

 

I know accidents happen but this was one of those completely stupidly avoidable situations. Her wallet was secured and for no reason, she unsecured it and just apparently left it behind. If she had left it on a counter after buying food or something, hey, that happens. This was just "I took it out for no reason and left it even though it was in my plain view" situations that is terrible.

 

Getting her back is the crushing part since I have yet to figure out how we can even get it done right now. Losing the con exclusives is that nice extra swift kick in the nuts that makes the situation even more lousy.

 

quick update: she found her old college picture id, that should work right? It just says picture id. She seems determined to go to the con because apparently she wants the set even more than me and she is thinking of getting the carrier too. I told her I have no idea but all it says is photo id so
