Although perhaps I should get it and paint Marvel Girls hair green for a makeshift Polaris. Hmm I now ponder. But in terms of the figures themselves for those who take them out, are you happy with them or do you just feel like they are repaints?

I think there's enough variation in the pack to warrant the duplication. If the X-Factor Beast comes out later, you'd be sad you didn't have this too.

Entertainment Earth got a case of the new comic packs in. Moon Knight/Ant Man are not in the assortment.

I don't expect them to be. Breakdown seems to be:

 

TRU-Exclusive X-Men Set:

1. Wolverine/She-Hulk

2. Captain America/Magneto

 

TRU-Exclusive MU Set:

1. Dr. Doom/Spider-Man

2. Rhino/Spider-Man

 

MU Set:

1. Juggernaut/Colossus

2. Silver Centurion/Mandarin

3. Wolverine/Hulk

 

Moonknight/Ant-Man seems to be being held out for a later assortment. That would explain why it was held out of SDCC, and why it wouldn't be in either case assortment (Hasbro only does 2-3 different sets per wave).

Those are the 8" figures. Cheetara has been on clearance at Target and Wal-Mart for at least the last few months. Never seen Tygra, but, then again, I never cared for the new Thundercats anyway.

I also got in my SDCC TRU Invisible Bilbo Baggins, SDCC MU MoE Set, SDCC ML X-Force set, and each of the G.I. Joe Jinxs'. Now I just need to pick up that Soundwave Hiss Tank and I will be a happy camper.

Also, I picked up an extra set of the TRU 2-packs for trade. I will happily trade the pair for a set of the collosus and mandarin two packs.
