3 3/4" sighting and hauls

EE has pre-orders up for a 4th wave of those 5 POA Ultimate Spider-Man figures and Kaine Scarlet Spider is in there.

Thanks for the heads-up! I didn't preorder since I'll try to find it in-store. I'd want a Kaine Scarlet Spider in the Avengers Infinite line, but I doubt it would happen.

I have been looking for the Green Goblin in this line, but have been unable to find him in-store. Just a bunch of Spider-Mans where we already have better versions.

Check Target. Several Targets here have a bunch of him.

Yeah I've seen the figure at Target as well as some two figure bundles with the cartoon based figures. I like the Doc Ock figure (only have seen him in the bundles not on his own)--he's not bad for a figure from this line. I just wished they had done Nova in this scale and not the larger action feature line.

Doc Ock is a really fun figure. You attach the rubber cords to his tentacles and when you pull back, he does a back flip. It's pretty awesome.

Well after close to a year of empty MU pegs, one of the TRU's near me put out not one, not two, but FIVE cases of the final MU wave. They had to add more pegs just to hold all of 'em. I felt obligated to buy something because it has been months since I found a treasure trove like that, but I didn't need any of the figures in that case. It was an odd feeling.

Did that case include Dagger? Because I still think she can be customed into Moonstone easily.

Yup that had plenty of Daggers. I'm not really into customizing unless it's something small like a headswap. I'll wait for Hasbro to do Moonstone (even though I'll likely be waiting a while.)

  • 2 weeks later...

Jubilee is still hanging at Target. The last wave is occupying 2-3 pegs at TRU- Seriously every last figure so if anyone needs anyone in particular, let me know. And I doubt Wal*Mart even has this on their layout given they keep downsizing. So since March I have not seen a trace of Avengers Infinite. This line is pretty much as DOA as we predicted. I preordered Whirlwind and Death's head off eBay. I'll take my chances on Red She-Hulk and Thor. Preordered the next two waves through BBTS and we'll see what happens. I'm not expecting much to change at retail. I just want Emma at this point.

Got excited to see a bunch of the new Infinity figures....

Oh wait....

attachicon.gifIMAG0762.jpg

Yeah we pretty much called that before the wave even came out....Needing armies of Iron-man and Captain Americas peg warming is what all the brick and mortar stores must of wanted if you'd believe the whole "anchor" theory. And Yodaminch called it right, finding The Avengers Infinite line is needlessly more difficult than MU was.... But whatever. hasbro seems incapable (or unwilling) to do what other toy companies have a better grasp on....

They did nothing to fix the problem they had. Making great figures, can't get them on the shelf. Second verse, same as the first. So soon we will hear about poor sales and how consumers just don't respond to a line you can't get in toys because none are stocking it. Iron Man 3, Amazing Spiderman, and Avengers Assemble are all you see here. The Cap 3 figures sold here, think they restocked them? Nope.

6 pegs for Iron Man 3 pegwarmer line.

Meanwhile, BBTS and EE probably couldn't be happier. I wonder if it would be possible for Hasbro to consider etailer-only waves.

At this point? They may as well look into it if they can't get them on the shelves. People have been asking them about this for YEARS. Figures have been cancelled over this. The thing is when they stock? I rarely see them last on the shelves. Other than Iron Man and Cap who have lines already on the shelf.

They should just do a sub service or something. I mostly get them through my LCS now by special order, which would be way awesome if I could just order the pieces I need versus whole cases, for both me and him. I guess the only problem is keeping costs down with that model (GI JOE subs are around $30 a figure or so), but I'm willing to pay a 2 or 3 dollar premium to be able to get what I want and not have to fight the scalpers for it.
