3 3/4" sighting and hauls

Heads up to those lucky enough to find wave 3 (Rogue, Quasar, etc.) in the wild: Hydro-Man has some serious QC issues with his eyes. I looked thru a rack of eight today and all of them had various degrees of derp-eye going on. The other three new figures looked pretty solid, but if you have a couple options with him, definitely take a closer look.

Picked up Wave 3 at my LCS since every store around me is stuck on the last wave of MI and ML Wave 1. I would repeat the caution that x-man77 cited above as I had to go through a few Hydro-Mans to find a good face and as well Morbius had face paint issues due to the white. I guess I only have the two GotG packages and Falcon to pick up and thats it for the year unless wave 4 is announced at SDCC.

@DdHawkins and PushYouDown: Thanks. I may snag one. I need a spare.

I found the new comic packs tonight. Captain Marvels and Spider-Men at Marshall's and the Hyperions at TJ Maxx. I'm happy I didn't have to pay shipping and the markup from BBTS or the full $20 at TRU/WM, but I really am worried that the comic packs are already dead. The first wave has been selling fairly well in my area. These really shouldn't be at closeout stores yet.

I've hit a few but haven't found any. I need the Spider-Man pack after getting the other two at my LCS for regular retail price with a coupon.

I'm with you, though, Stitch. I'm all for saving money, but this is a scary trend.

We'll see what happens at SDCC. If they only show off the Guardians comic packs and don't mention any more, than I think it's safe to assume these are done.

The Spidey set surprised me. Kaine is pretty bland looking on that awful body, but Spidey doesn't look as bad. This buck seems to be better for characters with lots of detailing to hide the wonky proportions.

One weird thing is that they seem to have used two different types of plastic for Kaine and Spidey. Kaine has the softer, gummier plastic that we've been seeing a lot of lately, while Pete is made of a harder, more brittle-feeling plastic.
