Oh, and I forgot to ention my TRU got in new MU figures today!!!..... too bad it was an old revision case...

BOTH of my TRUs had a case in the back room and were willing to pull them for me. BOTH of them had this lousy excuse for a case.

 

Even worse? BOTH had 4-6 figures on the pegs and left their extra case in the back!!! ARGH.

 

 

That 2 pack hulk is so much sexier, but it comes with that awful wolverine. I've already got that wolverine and I said f-it and just left him MOC.

 

The Wolverine is nicer too. The blue on him is lighter and more comic-accurate.

also got the wolvie vs hulk comic pack which to me are best version of hulk

and got my agent helix in today that im going to turn into a domino custom

Finally some dang good news.

 

Found a Sorcerer Loki at Marshalls. I wish I had found Sif but I don't think I care much anymore if I find her or not. Target is still a black hole of nothing.

I've only found Thor Wave 3 (the only wave with Sif) at TRU. I have yet to see it at any discount stores (TJX stores, Ross, or otherwise).

This is most of my trade/purchase/auction haul of the last 2 weeks. August was busy. Probably more than the entire 2012 year combined.

 

 

Not pictured are my carded wave 18 and 19 figures that are already on the wall with the rest of my carded collection. Thought about getting off the couch to add them to the photo, but the forecast for that event tonight is slim to unlikely.

Went on a quick breakfast/toy run. Nothing except at TJ Maxx, had the classic colored Sentinels and I picked up a KING LAUFEY who is up for trade if anyone needs him. Just PM me.

I went into TJ Maxx looking for Laufey and Loki but instead found 2 Marvel Masterworks Galactus--both the dark purple variants with the translucent Silver Surfer for $30 each. The boxes were pretty hammered, but still, considering I paid $64 to get my regular Galactus, not a bad find (I'd gladly trade one for an X-Force Archangel, if anyone's interested).

You guys are lucky. I have two Targets, two Walmarts, and a TRU in my area and still the most I've seen is the Spiderman/Doom and Spiderman/Rhino packs. Everthing else is old.

I've seen two Sentinels at mine and neither has been comic colored. I wish I could find one of those, it would make a great center one for a trio.

Small addition to my haul this week as the mail finally ran and brought me my first Chitauri chairot. Admittedly not very impressive by itself and the articulation on the figure is more than just lacking but that being siad I think once I can get a few of them they'll look awesome hung up flying all over my city diorama. So like in the movie, I think the key to these guys is sheer numbers LOL.

I hear you - still waiting in NY as well. When possible I like to pick out figures myself so I can compare paint apps and decide what I can live with. This is one of the reasons I recently passed on the FA Wolvie/Hulk 2-pack because all four that I found had awful paint jobs. I don't like giving up this ultra-tiny bit of power by ordering online.....at least, not yet. ;)

Slightly off topic, but I also have picked up the new TMNT. Havent cracked their cages yet but I'm excited. Definitely posing these guys in the man cave.
