good grief, what is that? Wave 20? I just saw wave 18 for the first time in my area yesterday, and this guy's pulling out 20!? I understand it's Mexico, but still it's not like it's in Hong Kong where you expect them to be months ahead of us.

Grabbed the SuperHero Showdown starter pack on Amazon for a whopping $12 +shipping. It arrived last night. I was actually really surprised at the level of detail in the sculpts. I mainly got it for the Spidey but the Thing is great too. I kinda think it's better than the MU version. BUT, in typical SHS fashion, the Spidey broke within the first 2 min. I was twisting his forearm when it broke off. So I spent an hour digging out the peg and whittling a new one from a sharpie clip. My first custom!!...ok maybe not.

It's a legal/copyrite thing - someone else owns the right to produce a toy named Kang, so they have to release this as Marvel's Kang, They've done the same with a lot of figures, Blastarr in the above pics has the same thing going on.

Nice day today. Found wave 19 Spider-man, She-Hulk, and Punisher at my local TRU. There was a lot, like 4 Spider-Mans, 3 She-hulks, and 2 Punishers. No Kang or Scarlet Witch. Also found the FF TRU 2-pack. Went to Walmart next and picked up FF Fantastic four on clearance to complete the team. My TRU is very up to date now with MU. Which is a good sign. Just to bad that there is only one in Tally :(

Found another Scarlet Witch and Kang at Walmart today, and add that to other recent finds Kraven, Beta Ray Bill, Ultimate Spider-Man red and blue, Beast, and Hulk. All are available for trade.

 

I am looking for Professor X loose or carded, and Death Mask Archangel carded, and Havok variant carded or loose.
